  1. "They've Gotta Beat Us." What did the team learn last year? That they can win without Burrow. More important, they learned to do a few different things in order to win sans Burrow. Some of that stuff will show up as the next part of Burrow's game and the evolution of the offense. And they'll do it without compromising the stuff that Burrow likes to do best--which means we'll still see plenty of shotgun, 4 and 5 wide, etc... . So, they got Moss because he can block and run from the shotgun. They got Gesicki who is Boyd's replacement, imo. They got a tackle who will let Burrow be more comfortable in the pocket and have more time to do his magic. This off-season is about becoming more flexible on offense, imo, and they have done a pretty good job of it --on paper. Not bad moves on the defensive side of the ball, either. So, Fuck Cleveland, Pittsburgh and Baltimore--they've got to beat us.

  3. There are people in the world starving, or nearly so, and many more struggling to put food on the table. “Fighting for crumbs” was a poor choice of words to describe someone in a worse-case position to make $21.8 million. That’s my opinion, and I will stand by that opinion. 🦗

  4. i got my seats back. talked to 3 people and got pumped to a manager finally and it took some selling i had to pull out all the stops, all truthful, but i had to play the logic, the heart strings, the begging, and they gave in, its possible i will lose a set next year and keep a set.. but we shall see. after the fact the things that was frustrating me the most that caused my rage, is im getting older, my health isnt exactly great, and my kids are getting older, there arent going to be many years that i can spend this time with my oldest son, in a few years he is gonna have a demanding job, family, and maybe kids of his own, and fucking off to ohio to watch the bengals with me isnt gonna be possible. and the thought of the bengals stripping that away from me to appease some assholes on a wait list, assholes WHO DIDNT SUPPORT THEM WHEN SALES WERE DOWN, but want tickets now that they are good, theyd take that away from me for those fans? for no gain in their pocket? probably an emotional flounce but i was about ready to be done with this franchise. you cursed my life with andy dalton and now this??!?!? fool me once...

  5. LOL. Comparing Jonah Williams to Trent Brown is laughable. Brown is a WAY better player. Zack Moss is light years better as a pass blocker so we don’t have to take him out on 3rd and 5 situations. Mixon is a terrible pass blocker. There is nothing unresolved about Tee Higgins, he will play under the franchise tag.

  8. I object your honor. Apples to oranges. Bengals are a pass heavy team whereas the ravens are exactly the opposite. What the bengals will ask of Moss is quite different than what Baltimore will have planned for Henry.

  9. Mike: "David, did you forget who the fuck I am? Do I look like some weak ass bitch owning the Broncos? I do not budge. Your client will report to work or I will fine him $20,000 every day and purposefully keep cap space to franchise him 3 years in a row. Nobody rat fucks me! Ask that whiny cunt Carson what happens when you wrestle with the Lumina Grizzly. (hangs up)"

  12. ... The fact that the 'Twitter MD' embeds an advertising ploy to sell his website inside of his 'hot take' clickbait—that was sensational with the expressed purpose of garnering outrage-engagement (and thus increasing the chances that someone buys his "service")—really calls his entire prognosis into question. Plus, he's basically citing an unnamed friend, the equivalent of "some people are saying".

  13. Well, the league has never had any problems with rules that involve the "subjectivity of the call", now, has it? I'm confident that every official will see it the same way and call it the same way every play, every game, and that point spreads will, in no way, enter into the decision-making process.

  15. its funny this is even news, but with how lazy all aspects of the media are nowadays its expected. both sides pretending, tee didnt request a damn thing, he agent releases the info, and the bengals dont comment on that shit and never have. bengals never overpay, and tee has absolutely zero leverage. he gonna sit out and miss 1.2 million a week paycheck? lol ok. if someone comes offering a good price we can trade. if not he will play. and ya know what? we can tag his ass again next year and STILL be below his asking price. whatever the opposite of leverage is, is what tee higgins has.

  17. Chew on this for a second. The Bengals don’t give a shit about running the ball. They have the most accurate quarterback in the league. They would probably throw it 100% of the time if they could. Until they dedicate the appropriate resources to it, they are going to be running their offense out of 11 personnel and letting the short passing game and RPOs be their primary run game.

  18. I have loved free agency Returned TE who we absolutely needed Returned a backup LB who basically give us 3 starting LBs Returned versatile backup G Returned special teamer at RB with some upside Got a FS that we needed because our other one couldn't call the plays and the LBs didn't trust him. Was making simple mistakes week 18. Got a RB that is younger and more elusive than the other RB we had and he can pass block better Got a TE/WR who I don't think solves TE but gives us another versatile weapon for this offense and I am never against those. We haven't lost a player I wanted back. We haven't overpaid for anyone. The top WR contract on the market is one that is easily doable for us and could be matched for Higgins We still have like 30 million to spend or something.

  19. Don’t quote me on this but I think he was released because Bryce Young can’t see over him. They’re now looking to sign a 5’2” or shorter center to accommodate their Tiny QB.

  20. B B But if the OLine opened huge holes, he would be so awesome! 🤦🏻‍♂️ Every RB would be fantastic if the Oline opened up holes to run through on every play. It’s the ones who find creases and exhibit patience where a secondary hole opens who separate themselves. And let’s not forget the pass blocking. Maybe if blitzers just wouldn’t run so hard towards him and run him over he would be so much more awesomer. I mean, if they’re running with their full might, how do you expect anyone to be able to block them or even get in their way? Can’t blame Mixon apparently. See, clearly Mixon is a top back in this league who is beyond upgrade because it’s everyone else fault he’s not even more awesomer. Clearly.

  25. IMO just seems like a position can CANNOT be weak at, so letting Dax learn is gonna ahve to come in blowouts and spot work, i can specifically remember 2-3 games where we needed one stop to get the ball back with a chance and gave up the play due to a CB or Safety shitting the bed (mainly cheeto) so the depth is great in case on injury and the talent boost is great. sucks for Dax's career trajectory, but we need to get a ring ASAP, so no hard feelings but no time for that right now.

  26. How anyone could defend the utter garbage that Mike Brown and family put on the field for 30 years by pretending the last 4 years was business as usual is laughable. In 33 years, Mike Brown, who INHERITED THE team is 223-303-4. In a league with a real salary cap, that is terrible. The Browns sat back, had the league negotiate every TV deal, every collective bargaining agreement, accepted their cut and didn’t do anything to promote the league. No effort necessary. 5 playoff wins in 33 years, all 5 of them coming in the last 3 years. ACCOMPLISHMENTS GALORE! Are the Walton heirs rocket scientists? Is Trump a genius? Paris Hilton extraordinary? No, they were born into wealth. We got LUCKY. Lucky as hell. Pure luck that Joe Burrow is a generationally great QB and we sucked so bad we had the first pick. Utter fucking luck. Lucky his knee got blown out (a little sarcasm) and we got Chase the next draft. He fell into their lap because the team absolutely sucked. I suffered thru almost 3 decades of shit, screw them. Don’t you remember the 90s and the Carson Palmer era shit show? The Chris Henry saga?

  27. If it’s not a 1st AND another pick, take a hike. Bengals benefit more by having Tee out there playing for them versus giving him up for a day 2 pick who is anything but a sure thing. Tee is a sure thing and I’d rather have him play this year (and maybe next as well) on the tag and get nothing in return down the road then give him up for a day 2 pick.

  29. So let me get this straight... Carolina gave us Vonn Bell and a 6th round draft choice and they are paying his salary to play for us. And they just signed Nik Scott, Are they playing for the first pick in the 2025 draft already? Never too early to tank? Some dumb sumbitches down there, boy howdy.

  30. I’m not sure why that would stir anyone up. The Bengals do not match up well with the teams in the North. The teams in the north haven’t had the success in the playoffs the Bengals have had because they can’t throw the football and turn into mush when they get down two scores. The Bengals are content to try and go 3-3 or even 2-4 in the north and dog walk the rest of the league. Might cost them a bye/home field but they’ve beat the Chiefs and Bills on the road so I’m not sure that phases them at all. The moves they’ve made have been to stop explosive pass plays and run their offense out of 11. They are gearing up to beat the Chiefs/Bills/Texans not the Browns/Stealers/Ravens

  33. The real blasphemy started when they replaced LaRosas with Papa Johns and then to Donatos as the "official" pizza of the Bengals. At least they serve it in the stadium as a pie cut and not those ridiculous little squares. Even more blasphemy to come when they introduce this year's rookie class to Skyline and no one tells them you don't f'n "twirl" a 3, 4 or 5 way

  35. But how much does Zach Moss smile while pulling ARs out on 3rd St? That’s where the real value lies. Also, apparently that’s all the fault of the Oline so I disregard that chart. Only other teams linemen open up holes, but never the bengals line. Mixon literally had to do it all himself. While smiling.

  36. Essentially, the current years salary which would hit 100% in the current year is converted to bonus and spread out over the remaining years of the contract. So if a player has 3 years left on his deal and his current salary is $15M - they convert the salary to bonus and then the $15M is spread out over this year plus the other two, so $5M per year. You would then save (create) $10M of cap space this year but add $5M to each of the next two years cap. It is kicking the can down the road.

  37. Because this is a case of hacking at the branches and missing the root. It's not about liking or disliking Mixon, I really don't care one way or the other. It's the nonsense that gets spewed on here that is simply not the case. Joe runs fine when the line blocks for him. The people who keep going on about him being the problem completely miss the mark when Chase Brown has all of 0.1 YPC for the season more than Joe's 4.0 YPC. But for some reason, some here seem to think he's going to produce where Joe couldn't or that bringing in someone else is going to be the answer? I'm not falling for the groupthink on this, because that's what this has become. Get guys who can run block and we will see things get better, until then you are just spinning your wheels and hacking at branches instead of the root.

  40. Actually, not a bad idea at all. The Browns are very accessible to personal contact and communication with fans, much more so than any other owner, I would say. A politely worded letter to both Mike and Katie (don't call them Old Musty and Pumpkin, me thinks...) explaining your plight (avoid the term "fucked over) and how far you, Go, travel and the expense alone with you and your son should weigh heavily. And your support of the team at games away from Paul Brown Stadium (screw Paycore). You have put more into this team, time and money, than high profile guys like say, well... you fill in the blanks. If anyone qualifies as a "Super Fan" its you, Go. However... I would not mention the message board thing and if you do don't tell them which one. Just sayin' and told to me by a friend.

  41. Any way to contact Katie? She might do something for you. Owning and running a Bengals message board for so long might count for something. Proves your legit loyalty to the team.
