  1. I would like to see these “people” and their expert findings. If it is just supposition from tank-topped TV blabbermouths, then question the source strongly. Are there any actual medical/psychological opinions? Otherwise it appears to be bollocks

  2. SUMMARY: A three-year starter, McMillan worked primarily out of the slot in former Washington offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb’s spread scheme (91.4 percent of his snaps came inside over the last two seasons). The highest-ranked recruit in the Huskies’ 2020 class, McMillan was Michael Penix Jr.’s top target in 2022, but he went somewhat overlooked in 2023, because of his injury and usage as an underneath weapon (71.1 percent of his catches came within 10 yards of the line of scrimmage). McMillan is a rangy pass catcher (his baseball background as a centerfielder shows) with first-step acceleration and sharp footwork to stair-step or deke coverage at the stem. I want to see him amplify his aggression when the ball is in the air, but he uses his length well to snare throws away from his frame. Overall, McMillan will need to prove he can handle the physicality of playing inside at the next level, but he has three -level potential as a pass catcher and will be an intriguing option for a team that prioritizes length and speed from the slot. Stylistically, his game reminds me of a juiced-up Jakobi Meyers. GRADE: 3rd-4th Round

  3. Would not mind and nor be surprised if they used one of the extra third round picks, ie the freebee they got for renting out Vonn Bell for a year, to trade up in round two for a juicy slider who is higher in the round,. I just do not want to see a wide receiver taken until Round three at the highest.

  7. The discussion is in the NFL News forum at Football's Future. Some of the participants are alcoholics themselves. There are posts from counselors, lawyers, and police officers on various aspects of Sweat's arrest and analysis of the police report.

  8. Lamar has been injury prone the last few years. Mahomes is heavily protected by the officials. Their line, especially the tackles are allowed to hold or move early to a greater extent than other team's lines are. Remember Collinsworth referring to Jawaan Taylor as the slot receiver because of how far off the line he was when he took his stance? Yeah, guards were definitely winners this free agency period. Some pretty crazy overpays. My view is that was a byproduct of a shortage of good O-linemen combined with a big jump in cap space. So teams spent it quickly in chunks to protect their QBs.

  9. His mama raised him by herself. tough place to grow up in. He's was bigger than kids from the start. Mama feed and babied him. He wasn't a bully .exact opposite.. Passively funny... Needs mentorship.. Maybe BJ Hill could take a role in it..

  11. With Byron Murphy and Mims still on the board? Child, please. Pittsburgh getting Jackson Powers-Johnson is quite possible and a scary thought.

  12. Wonder if the Bengals would pass on a prospect because his agent is very difficult to deal with? Muleghetta, the agent who represented both Bates and Higgins, also represents Taliese Fuega.

  13. That has to be the worst mock draft so far

  14. Yeah - that would be solid. I’d belly ache about not taking a WR at 80, but getting two more defensive tackles and a guard that could possibly play right away would be great.

  15. I would bet the Jets front office wish Rodgers would shut up. They want to win game and sell merch, but their leader is such an embarrassment.

  16. There are a lot of 7 round media mock drafts, but I always pay special attention to the Dane Brugler one in The Athletic. Yeah, these things are always a crapshoot, but The Beast is just so detailed. Here is what he came up with for Cincinnati: 1 (18). Byron Murphy II, DT, Texas 2 (49). Cooper Beebe, G, Kansas State 3 (80). Theo Johnson, TE, Penn State 3 (97). D.J. James, CB, Auburn 4 (115). T’Vondre Sweat, DT, Texas 5 (149). Anthony Gould, WR, Oregon State 6 (194). Erick All, TE, Iowa 6 (214). Giovanni Manu, OT, British Columbia (Can.) 7 (224). Sam Hartman, QB, Wake Forest 7 (237). Ryan Rehkow, P, BYU

  17. Yes, we need line help on both sides of the ball, but there seems to be more DT value than OT on Day Two. Of course there is much more 3T value rather than NT, which is Cincinnati's biggest hole on defense. But we need to grab an OT while we have a pick as high as 18. That may not happen again for years.

  18. It’s not so much what he did that’s causing the concern, it’s when he did it. Piss poor judgement is not the endearing quality NFL teams are looking for.

  19. It is strange to think that, at one time, players often made more money in the CFL than in the NFL. Today, the annual team salary cap in the CFL is around $6M - for the whole team!

  20. Thanks - good list. From what I’ve read and heard from draft weenies, sounds like Barton is definitely going in round one. Robinson likely as well. Mitchell is definitely intriguing with his size and speed and big-play ability. Love Roman Wilson and Mason Smith would hit a need for sure. A little wary re Patrick Paul but depending in what happens in round one, could see it on day 2.

  21. Ancient Bengals History... In the 1977 Draft Paul Brown used a 4th round draft pick for Georgia ORT Mike Wilson who would have gone in the first round if he had not already signed a contract with Toronto in the CFL. He played there a year before coming to the Bengals to play ORT for many years overlooked because he played next to ORG Max Montoya and he was the book end for young OLT Anthony Munoz. He was one of my favorite Bengals ever. Mike Wilson was overlooked and underrated.

  22. If Murphy happens to be there in round one (not likely) you have to take him and go OT in round two. If one of the aforementioned do not slide or you don't trade up for one who does (would love that) then one of the guys mentioned, perhaps. The rap on Paul is he is a bit older than the other
