  1. Given the absolute thieves the bengals have become trying to steal my tickets, games i cannot make, i will have for sale at face value or REALLY close, at minimum way cheaper than market value. So if you need a pair or two pairs, let me know, I am in section 111 and 106, behind the bengals sideline/bench.

figured id post it so its on peoples minds when the season hits. Ill post week by week or as I know my travel plans as they arrive.

Hulu's been good, although I don't really have anything to compare it to at this point. No complaints though. With the Hulu+ I also get Disney+ and ESPN+ at no extra charge, still working my way through all the Disney Classics from when I was young and/or my kids growing up. Also like the Hulu "library", binge watching Cheers and then jumping to Don't Shoot Me and then My Name Is Earl. Will probably be choosing some other classic comedies down the road, hoping they get Taxi soon. The only thing I haven't liked about streaming, at this point, is the endless repetition of the same commercials and you can't fast forward through them, even when watching something recorded. I guess I could pay a little more, but I'll do with this minor irritation for now.

yea im so grumpy i pay the little extra to skip the commercials, they almost seem worse placed than regular commercial breaks, its not quite like they interupt a sentence in a show for the ad but sometimes it feels like it, same with youtube, pay for the premium to not have ads. youre paying with your time or with your wallet, either way your paying.

I am glad hulu is a solid product, they were all so sketchy 3-4 years ago, but most seems good now. I onder if we ever get to an a la carte style or if everything keeps bundling to mimic the cable packages we escaped to begin with.

sounds like the sports leagues realized they were CARRYING some cable network packages and can get a GIANT increase in cut revenue per customer to the pennies they got for cable packages. which im all for it. MLB.tv is like $100/year for reds, like a dollar a game. NBA is $15/mo, so about a dollar a game, NFL is like $20/game, but whose not gonna pay it? so few games so important each, people can miss a month of baseball and be fine, missing a week of NBA games and be fine.. missing a weekly football game can change a season..

yea he said this a while ago, not sure why there were so many articles from hacks saying it was worrisome they havent negotiated yet. i saw at least 5 articles with titles roughly stating "bengals fans should be worried" sort of thing.

yea those picks were killer, but every roster is full of a rotation of lunch pale guys doing dirty work, there are 88 total pro bowlers each year. and 96+ first three round picks.

id have to consider a pro bowl selection to be too tight of a goal for all top 3 round picks. hell in a 5 year span there are 160 first round picks.

i keep trying it out and its so worthless. just dudes looking at average data sheets and acting like they have in depth analysis and knowledge of everything.

they absolutely fucking suck and also act smug as fuck. i hate them so much.

Teams expect players drafted in rounds 1-3 to become starters for them, at least by year 3. Merely getting a second contract would be a little disappointing as pretty much any first rounder will get a second chance elsewhere if he fails with his first team. But we can't expect most top 100 players to make a pro bowl either or start all the seasons of their rookie deal.

i think this is the big misconception, if you go look at the first round in 2017, theres about 6 guys who were busts and hopped around and never got past the 4 years into even a 5th year option. then there are the deshawn watson types, still in the league, mega contract, but was that a successful pick? traded him for lots of draft capital and stuff, but as a pick, thats a bust IMO, so there is some wiggle room, but if we did thise for all 3 rounds, id bet we are somewhere around 50-60% success rate. so thats what got me thinking about what a successful pick is.

many of the options above would have Gio Bernard as an unsuccessful pick, which i think is bananas.

Due to cap reasons I think getting a 2nd long term (not a 1-2 year deal) contract either with the team or a different team

this would put you as a great pick IMO. which qualifies of course, but its the next level for me.

I choose to bitch about or praise draft picks on a pick-by-pick basis.  There are just so many factors that come into play, including who is ahead of them at that position on the team and who else was available at that point in the draft. 😎

shouldnt be anyone ahead of them for the first two rounds, 3rd rounders, sure. but its rare for a first and even second round pick to be facing a depth chart at all.

as far as who else is available, thats a slippery slope. not sure anyone ever has any successful picks in that case, i think TJ watt was damn near the end of the round. everyone fucked up lol

Being a 4th round pick who gets a $905,972 performance based paycheck after being bad mouthed and made the scapegoat for poor O line play all season.

he fucking sucks. tape shows, it, stats show it, lets hope, again, this offseason was a productive one. cause it would be sweet if he wasnt so fucking bad. imagine getting a million dollars cause you sucked but still played lots of snaps. if i performed at his level at my job id ahve been fired 7 years ago.

Becoming a productive starter by year 3.

low bar, but reasonable, especially for the end and 3rd rounders. a first rounder sitting sround not being productive for two years would be tough, but if it panned out longer term it would be ok.

I voted for the ProBowl selection, but that's admittedly wishful thinking.  Honestly, any one of those choices could constitute a successful selection depending on specific circumstances IMHO.

yea thats the loftiest goal, with that bar the bengals ahve had like 6 successful draft picks in the last 15 years. same across the league.

  7. Wemby is a madman, 9 blocks vs the nuggets tonight, luckily jokic went for 42pts 16 rebounds and 6 assists, probably could have had 20 assists if guys hit their open shots.

Murray still out. hopefully he returns for the clippers thursday

if not i would fully expect him back saturday for the Hawks.

Gordon took a hell of a fall on a foul tonight, hopefully he is alright. was late to postgame interviews due to treatment.

nuggets currently in first place over OKV and wolves by .5 games, however tied in the loss column. and they have zero tiebreakers with either team so may as well all be tied. if everyone wins out, the nuggets are 3rd place

okc and wolves on back to back games tonight and tomorrow, OKC SHOULD lose, wolves SHOULD win.

wolves do face nuggets next week so i guess they cant all win out..that game could very well be for first place in the west.

  8. hows the hulu been?

I am stuck in a cycle of hell with needing youtube TV for nfl sunday ticket, and needing directv stream for nuggets games, so from october to january i need them both, then i can cancel YTTV until next september, and i can cancel Directv stream from april to october, so i oddly dont need any of them from april to september, and need both from october to january, then only need DTTVS from january to april.

1-2 more years until the NBA fixes its shit tv deal mess and i wont need directv nymore.

  9. murray been out 4 games, been rough, also just ice cold shooting, were 10/40 from 3 against the wolves. same the game before, also BLOWING fast break points, they were 2/17 on fast breaks. which is ASTRONOMICALLY low.  like never seen that before low.

were back clicking even without murray today, shot 63% from 3 pt hit 21, tied season record. roughed up the Cavs by 30.

    jokic a 26/16/15 triple double.

they claim luca has passed jokic in the MVP race. which would be a crime. then again last year was a absolute robbery giving it to Embiid. and in 2021 giving it to Giannis again.

Jokic should have 4 going on 5 MVPs. he has been an unstoppable menace.

Nuggets placy the wolves next week again, if they win that they have a good chance of winning out, depending who they rest and when. i think they only play 1 other team with a winning record. Spurs twice, Hawks, Jazz, memphis, then clippers and wolves are the two decent teams.

OKC plays a road back to back against the 76ers and then Boston the next night. if they drop BOTH of those, the nuggets have a solid shot at the 1 seed.

a 1 seed would likely earn Jokic the MVP.

Murray has now missed 21 games he is eliminated from any awards, meaning he cannot sign a SUPER MAX extension contract this offseason, just a MAX contract. which is like a 100million difference.

he can risk it and not sign the deal and play next year hoping to make all star or all nba teams, but if he gets hurt, itll cost him 30-50 million most likely.

Nuggets in 2nd place, half game up on Wolves, tied with OKC but losing tie breaker.

they lose tie breaker with Wolves and Thunder no matter what.

  10. IMO just seems like a position can CANNOT be weak at, so letting Dax learn is gonna ahve to come in blowouts and spot work, i can specifically remember 2-3 games where we needed one stop to get the ball back with a chance and gave up the play due to a CB or Safety shitting the bed (mainly cheeto) so the depth is great in case on injury and the talent boost is great. sucks for Dax's career trajectory, but we need to get a ring ASAP, so no hard feelings but no time for that right now.

  11. back tied with the thunder in theory, how the thunder have played 2 less games than denver at this point in the season is ridiculous.

OKC has more games, more road games, more games against playoff teams, than denver to end the season. as long as denver doesnt wet the bed they could easily climb into the 1 seed.

but frankly no one expects the thunder to make it to the Wester conference finals so denver would be the top seed probably anyway in that game and still have home court.

and if OKC does make it, the nuggets can sweep them in all honesty.  so itwould be nive but not necessary. as long as we stay ahead of the Wolves. Wolves if healthy, are the second best team in the west. but they arent healthy.

  12. "Nuggets" faced the "Blazers" tonight, all but one starters for the blazers out, jokic and murray didnt even make the trip, nuggets won by 3, rough game to watch, like 40 turnovers combined in the game, terrible basketball all around.

G league 2 way player Colin Gillespe played really well, very unsuspecting player, doesnt look like he would be effective, but smart and hustle goes a long way.

back home for Memphis monday, who also sucks, rumors that murray may sit again with sprained ankle. I expect Jokic to play.

sold my tickets for that one, first of a.5 game home stretch, the 4 following games are much better.

I'll have to go with Boston

Indiana can beat or lose to any other Eastern team in the playoffs.

Mystery team to me and I follow them lol..

Like to see Haliburton shoot 20 plus a game instead of Allways looking to pass.

I don't see anyone stopping Denver.

yea halliburton is a great player but he is a tier 2 or 3 star, he cant carry a winner himself. he can be part of one, of course.

  14. its funny this is even news, but with how lazy all aspects of the media are nowadays its expected.

both sides pretending, tee didnt request a damn thing, he agent releases the info, and the bengals dont comment on that shit and never have. bengals never overpay, and tee has absolutely zero leverage.

he gonna sit out and miss 1.2 million a week paycheck? lol ok.

if someone comes offering a good price we can trade. if not he will play. and ya know what? we can tag his ass again next year and STILL be below his asking price. whatever the opposite of leverage is, is what tee higgins has.

The playoffs unofficially started a couple games ago.

It's another level of play now.

    Best of times .

yes good basketball, AND the nba corrected the officiating nonsense that was allowing for the 60+ pt games by mediocre "stars" so defenders are actually allowed to defend again. this favors the nuggets. thus they are 10-1 since the all star break.

    Nuggets upend Miami 103-97

    Porter ..30-11-3

    Joker....18-11-7

    Gordon..16-9-3

    Pope.....18-2-2

    Nuggets 41-19.. 3rd in West

just whooped the heat again in their own house. taking over the #1 spot in the west, i expect denver and OKC to go back and forth in the 1 spot for a week or two. i think the wolves are done in contention for that spot with KAT injured and Rudy roughed up, theyll be the 3 seed it seems.

1-4 are set as a group, and 6-10 are set as a group, so no dramatic ranking changes i dont think.

for a playoff run i think id prefer mavs or warriors first round, pelicans second round, and OKC in the WCfinals. shouldnt take more than 5 games to eliminate any of them.

I dont see boston coming out fot he east honestly, knicks or heat are my best bet. MAYBE the bucks, but lillard dont give a fuck. I feel lillard is one of those "never a champion" guys like chris paul.
