I do not understand why every one is worried about spending all this money for watching something fake and rigged like the the NFL.

I just read how the Bengals were fucked later on.

New Steeler Keeanu Benton: Mike Tomlin told me he wants goons out there
Posted by Michael David Smith on April 30, 2023, 7:09 AM EDT
Wisconsin nose tackle Keeanu Benton says he knows just what kind of player Stealers coach Mike Tomlin drafted him to be.
Benton said after the Stealers drafted him in the second round that Tomlin told him the Stealers want tough, physical players, and that Benton fits the bill.
“Just talking to Coach Tomlin, the main thing I had taken away from that was he wants goons out there, and he wants somebody who’s not afraid to get his nose dirty, and I feel like I am the best option for that guy,” Benton said, via Stealers.com.
Tomlin said that is what he told Benton, although he doesn’t know that he wants Benton calling himself a “goon” publicly.
“That’s an accurate description,” said Tomlin, “but I’ll give him some media training so he can keep some of our private conversations private.”
Benton was a four-year starter at Wisconsin who earned a reputation as a tough player to block in the Big Ten. The Stealers think he brings the kind of toughness they need.
And Chris Collinsworth is jerking off to good ole Stealers football......

I could see this being a take 2 RB menu especially if the Bengals could get another couple of picks or so.

I've been using this stuff for years. You can buy it almost anywhere, have even seen it for sale at Fred Meyers in Warrenton Oregon, near where my daughter lives. Amazon has it too. Pretty close to the originals and you can make it drier if a Gold Star fan or wet, if Skyline is your drug of choice.
Thanks, I actually have seen that in some local southern Indiana stores but never tried it. II will give it a try. They a lot of Cincy products I would like to give a try. When I go south to Louisville I notice that Kentucky does a pretty good job of promoting Kentucky food products including a section of many grocery stores that have Kentucky made products. I think I have seen a few stores in malls or shopping stores completely devoted to Kentucky food products. I wonder if there is something similar in Cincy where there is one stop shopping for Cincy food products?

Phoenix has a Skyline now, I'll probably end up there eventually if I don't just DIY at home.
Anyone is more than welcome to send me any good DIY Cincy Chili recipes they have. I have only used the one in an older edition of the Joy of Cooking and it was just OK for me.

There is always a lot of "Coach" speak this time of year. If you remember a few weeks back all the Coaches were adamant about Jonah being the left tackle until we woke up one morning and he wasn't.

At 6'8", 375 lbs, 36" arms and 11" hands Dawand could just lay on his back and swing his arms and legs around and block most pass rushers on the right side.

Dwand Jones would be a monumental reach at 28. No way they’re doing that.Dawand might be a reach, but I do not know if it would be monumental or not. Sometimes when you are picking at the bottom of a round its is either hoping a better player falls to you or reaching for a player below but close to your slot. Dawand might fall out of the first round. But does he fall to 60? I am not sure about that?

I dunno. This is shaping up to be a 2017 type draft for tackles. They all sucked. Definitely a crap shoot position in the draft.
If you are talking about LT I do not disagree. But I think several of those guys would be an improvement on what the Bengals plan to throw out on the right side.
At least they would be better than the backups on the team.

I do not disagree that the OT class is weak. I do not mean just take anyone. But if either Wright-Jones-Jones-Harrison falls to 28 it would be very hard not to take one of them.

Brian Callahan did a podcast yesterday. He may not be the one who makes the decision, but he all but dismissed taking OT at #28. He said the position was extremely weak this year. Reminded people that they already have a lot of OTs with experience on the team. Callahan is all about getting Burrow more weapons in the passing game. TE/RB early-to-mid then a "4th WR" later on. If they take an OL at all in the draft, Callahan made it sound like it would more likely be an interior guy for depth.
We have heard that same crap about the OL is fixed since Whitworth left. How has that worked out for them?

With the Bengals besides Brown what other tackle will any RB run between?
Go back and read one of the main reasons folks were saying Mixon was sucking.....it was the Oline.
To me its simple, it needs to be OT at 28.

It is Skyline for me.
In fact any trip from Indiana to Cincy or even the gambling boats on Indiana side means a stop at Lawrenceburg for large chilis 5 way for lunch/dinner the next day.

He was 2 when Mixon was hurt last season and preformed fine.
At some point you have to give young guys a chance.
A lot of good running backs in the draft this year. Time for Williams and Evans to move up or move out.

Does anyone know the reason that Lamar chose not to have an agent?

The Bengals could probably franchise tag Tee twice actually if the agent wanted to play hard ball. Maybe even 3 years in a row.
Tee's agent is David Mulugheta. Same as Bates. He will play hardball.

Hasn't the RB room been around for a while? I was thinking Holyfield was the youngest and he is turning 25. Too many guys that are not moving up and should be moving out.
Get some new blood in there.

Surely the Bengals organization could find something for the pair of McCarrons'. You decide which pair. 1/2

To be honest I am not impressed with the Bengals RB room at all. Mixon is overpaid and needs to go and Perine is 28 who I might give a 1 year $3 million deal for continuity but nothing longer. Show the others the door and draft one and load up on UDFA's and see who sticks. Pick up somebody off the waiver wire or another team's practice team. I really do not think the Bengals would be worse off and a real chance of being better.

I say be creative with Killer Joe's contract. One of the Blackburn Girls hand in marriage and 25% of Bengals ownership as a dowery. Front office position when he retires.
