  1. UC v UK now a real possibility.
  2. Yeah, I want to see oline and defense dominate most of our selections, with us taking a RB somewhere between 3-5 and a WR in 4-6. I actually envision Cody Core getting an expanded role in the offense next season too. Dude can play.
  3. Maybe we could collectively come up with some clever t-shirt slogans and send them to the PBS suggestion box. "Win me a playoff game or you're stuck with me for two more years" "All that wood you chopped is rotting in Mike Brown's backyard under a tarp" "Just be better than the Browns" Something...
  4. Oh, he's got more recent ones out there addressing the 14 year drought. In what way, Jeb? All I heard was "my man Mike Tomlin", which I took as a measure of respect for an African American coach that's won a super bowl. There's nothing subjective about pointing out having one job to do in 14 years and failing to do it, or that had it been anywhere else, even Cleveland, for God's sakes, he wouldn't still have his job.
  5. I hate this argument. In the NFL the coaches are the ones held accountable for the success or lack thereof of the team, because their actions with practices, playcalling, adjustments, gametime decisions, etc all reflect how their players respond to them. On any other team, there'd have been a coaching clearing house long ago. But not the Bengals, because their coaches are a reflection of their owner...stubborn, old fashioned, overly loyal and certainly not receptive to the ever-changing nature of the NFL. I have to believe that at least in part, bleeding FA's has something to do with "the Bengal Way" and not solely about money. Marvin Lewis has proven time and again his inability to put the team in the best position to win a playoff game. Or when he's on the cusp of doing so, he loses control of the team (Pittsburgh) or suddenly deviates from what was working and goes all Marty Schottenheimer (San Diego game). And let's not even get into a lack of halftime adjustments, poor clock management, stupid challenges and all that other stuff. He's now a lame duck coach and I don't think the players really hear or respond to him anymore.
  6. He's just mad because of the new "no tit holding rule" instigated by the NFL rules committee now that he has to face Andre Smith again.
  7. Having AJ Green wearing a suit, glasses and a trenchcoat reading "Future HOF 20__" and bursting from a flaming telephone booth in full uniform with a black and orange striped cape on to take the field in the home opener would be pretty cool.
  8. What's Stacy Andrews doing these days? Another HUGE mistake with "the one that got away".
  9. Yes he is, but sometimes it seems to me that he's being unnecessarily articulate to throw around big words for their own sake. And he was right about one thing: Marvin should have been fired after the San Diego playoff loss. I still believe that.
  10. My children stand at the ready to test and probe any and all security measures from any new setup. Just let me know, I will put the little chimps to work.
  11. As Andy's personal waxing assistant, I can verify that there are no orange pubes left to grab (although they sold fairly well on ebay). My team and I have urged him several times to remove the replica of the black rubber wedding band on his ring finger that he also wears around his cock as well but to no avail. He claims it "keeps him pure on the road".
  12. I predict several steps....back in Andy's direction.
  13. This is what Stephen A reminds me of every time I hear him speak:
