|Bunghole|
Beat your wife, get a game or two suspension, it's cool. Smoke a joint a couple times, be suspended from the league for life. Makes sense.

Just think if he had been smoking some weed, he probably wouldn't have hit her....and would have gotten a 4 game suspension.
|Bunghole|
I'm thinking Josh Gordon and Justin Blackmon need to get really stoned and have a UFC style cage match, sanctioned by the NFL, with Ray Rice's wife as the woman that walks around in a bikini with the round cards, and they fight to the death. Winner gets to play next season, NFL cleans up on PPV. Loser obviously is dead and therefore permanently suspended by the NFL.
Passepartout
If it were a normal person, they would be spending up to ten to fifteen years in prison. Ray Rice got a beyond slap on the wrist!
AmishBengalFan
TMZ just released the full video of Rice's assault on his wife:

Jungletiger
40% rate of domestic abuse goes on in our nations police force but a man that plays a sport is the one we want to make an example of... hurrah.

|Tigers Johnson|
In all honesty, this is complete bullshit.... If this video had come out right when it happened would he have been cut and suspended for life? I highly doubt it.... He probably would have been suspended for more than two games.... Let's be honest, the Ravens and NFL are running like scared little girls because they want to distance themselves from the public firestorm. The public in this situation takes on a mob mentality and wants heads to role... He is effectively being punished twice for the same crime... Was it enough the first time? No.... But we live in a society with one of the core values being double jeopardy.... You... I... And everyone knows the NFL saw that video before today, but now they are saying they didn't to use it as "more evidence" to suspend Rice longer to avoid a PR nightmare.... And it's complete bullshit. BengalsOwn
And saint Roger should follow. That is some complete and utter BS that the NFL says they didn't see this until today. I agree. It was widely reported that the NFL had seen the video. Now the reporters are backtracking from those reports. Has anyone read the lengths that MLB goes to in order to pursue evidence? The payoffs for information, etc.? The NFL clearly didn't go very far in investigating this, if they didn't see the video.
MichaelWeston
It's dumb hat the second video has anything to do with this at all. He was dragging his unconscious wife out of an elevator and admitted he punched her.
Passepartout
Used to like him but now, really do to this, the guy deserves to never work in the NFL again! Hopefully he will get help!
Go Skins
http://www.tmz.com/2014/09/10/us-congress-roger-goodell-letter-ray-rice-domestic-violence-video/The United States Congress has inserted itself in the Ray Rice scandal ... the House Judiciary Committee has just fired off a letter to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell ... questioning his handling of the case. The letter -- signed by 12 members of the Committee and obtained by TMZ Sports -- notes that Goodell has said he had requested the video but never got it. But the Committee is skeptical, writing, "To our knowledge the public has not been informed as to specifically how and in what context the request was made, and specifically how relevant law enforcement responded."
