NFL on ESPN had us going 9-7 with losses at home to Atlanta and Jacksonville.

:24: :24:

They also had us losing to a Josh Gordon-less Cleveland.

I think they got those 3 games wrong, so 12-4.

I have no confidence that we will win in Cleveland. If we go 15-1 this year I'll bet the lone loss will be @Cleveland.

I expect a slight drop off, so no 12-4, though if that happens I will be a very happy black VA country boy.

My guess is 10 wins, but such is the way of the NFL, a couple plays and we will probably make 12-14 wins, and conversely, a couple of plays and we will be looking for a new coach...

I kinda want to see Marvin gets his 100th victory as a head coach---preference  to this season, I want to see a 4th straight playoff appearance, but more than anything, I want to see a PLAYOFF WIN....

First time I went through it I got 10 wins.    Now recognizing I typically think preseason doesn't mean shit but watching Browns, Bengals, Ravens, and Steelers in multiple games, I'm around the 12 win mark for this team.

When your starters and major contributors on defense aren't giving up a TD despite having PI and defensive holding increased 100%, that's saying something, IMO.  Then you figure they did it without much from Geno or the first round pick.

Dalton the biggest question mark of the entire bengals season isn't a lame duck (contract wise) and had his best preseason.

Bengals (10-6): After watching new offensive coordinator Hue Jackson at work in training camp and preseason games, I think the Bengals can get to 10 wins. Andy Dalton and A.J. Green should take this team to the playoffs again. -- Coley Harvey

I've got a Hundo that says we win more than 6.

I'm pretty sure he is joking.

I am and I think Kenneth knows that or he certainly would want to bet something more than a Hundo... 1/2 :ninja:   He'd have to know where the infamous 6 and 10 at best comes from.  It's been around since the beginning of the grand-daddy of all boards way back in the day.  I think it initially had something to do with the 1980 and 1987 regular season record (6-10 and 4-11), meaning we have to suck the regular season before we go on a Super Bowl run.  It's also probably tied in with the decade of futility.  Can't remember the poster who started that but LT or Harley might remember.
