Jason
Given that RB is not a need, and he tore his ACL, if Gurley is on the board in 2, would you take him? When? At all?
MichaelWeston
In round 2? No. Not at all. Day 2 probably not. Day 3 maybe. We hit on Jeremy Hill and Bernard but investing early draft picks in RBs is not a smart business practice.
JC
I would take a shot at him, but I know they won't. We already have two pretty BA backs, but Gurley is going to be an animal. Could have been a top 10 pick in the age of running back by committee.
ThurmanMunster
In round 2 yes. The guy is going to be an elite RB in the NFL and by far the BPA at our pick in round 2. Not to mention having 3 good RBs is not excess and can all be used easily.
ChicagoBengal
Maybe if he's BPA, HOWEVER, I still think regardless of if and how far the Bengals play into February, there are issues that far outweigh a bargain at RB such as depth at OT, the D-Line, and LB (not to mention that secondary isn't getting any younger). Bengals1181
if he slips to round 3, maybe, but the Bengals are already 3 deep at RB. If you did it, I'd turn Gio into almost exclusively a receiver.

It also doesn't make sense to draft RBs early in a league where their free market value is comparatively low. We shouldn't draft another RB in the top 3 rounds for maybe 5 years if ever. bengaled
no. there are too many more significant needs, with too many players approaching free agency in the near future. this team badly needs a pass rusher, and an offensive tackle, and could use starter quality help at linebacker. domata peko's position needs upgraded, and reggie nelson's SS position will soon become an issue as well. we'll also have decisions to make at TE and WR on the horizon. besides, no one knows what they'll be getting after gurley's rehab. will he be the same player he was prior to the ACL tear? there's no way to answer that conclusively. spicoli
If you did it, I'd turn Gio into almost exclusively a receiver. probably wouldn't be a bad idea to go ahead and do that now....I'd have zero problems with Hill/Burkhead as the first two ball carriers right now.. No depth at safety? We have 2 damn good starters and a very talented young safety in Shawn Williams that the coaches love and trust enough that he plays every goal line snap on defense. Areas of concern are OL, DL and LB definitely not safety.
