Jeb
Why? Hue still has a lot to prove, ...it doesn't make sense.
cincybengalz
If they lose today. I'm perfectly fine with it. I'd like to clean house if that happens as we have reached Marvin's pinnacle.

|ArmyBengal|
Hue makes sense for Buffalo but it's only an interview. I like Hue as an OC, I'm not sold on him as a HC.
Hackettj22
Unfortunately, it satisfies the Rooney Rule and could very well be the only reason.

The Rooney rule explains some of the interest. And in hindsight his term with the Raiders is looking better. IMHO his performance this season wasn't very impressive, but he'll look like a Wile E. Coyote sort of genuis if the Bengals "exorcise the elephant" today.

scharm
Buffalo would be Hue's second head coaching gig. Do guys get a 3rd chance without undeniable success? I'm not sure I go to Buffalo at this time.
scharm
If there's one person on this earth that can raise Andy Dalton to the level of his true talent that man is Bob Bratkowski.

Well with Andy's arm strength I expect a full complement of shovel pass plays. :)

The Left Hand of Frerotte
I'd love to have Brat back. His numbers overall are better than anything since he left. In all fairness, he never had to work with Dalton.
|schotzee|
I'm not sure what was going on toward the end. It appeared Andy was trying to talk to Hue and he was blown off. No excuse for that unless Hue was talking to someone upstairs.
|ArmyBengal|
watching Mike and Mike with Adam Schefter talking about coaching vacancies. Sounds like the most sought after asst coaches are still in the playoffs. Sounds petty, but perhaps Hue is getting interviews now so that teams meet the Rooney rule while waiting for "their guy". Hue is a pawn that teams figured would be available after this weekend. It aint personal, it's business.
Hooky
Why doesn't anybody want to interview Marvin? It seems that if he thought he could get another job somewhere, he would. He's got job security out the ass here.

He's got job security out the ass here.. Ur silly. Marvin going to coach another team would require a lot of compensation in return. MB would never let him leave to go coach elsewhere for nothing. scharm
I'd love to have Brat back. His numbers overall are better than anything since he left. Hue and Gruden have had trouble putting up Brat numbers even with the dramatic shifl in rule changes sending offensive numbers higher. People don't want to talk about it but Brat probably was more of scapegoat for Marvin because there hasn't been this bonaza of scoring since his replacement.
