I don't see us going after McPhee as he has played DE in a 3-4 his whole career and is averaging 4.25 sacks per season for his career, just doesn't seem like a good fit. Fasnao is a maybe, he's a good blocker and solid vet, but you can get similar production from a younger, cheaper player..which is why the Chiefs cut him.

As for your re-signings I don't think Nugent will be back, just call it a hunch. I hope they bring back Rey and Clint, both are solid starters that have helped this team win.

The draft is very meh...Flowers is an ok pick but I think 53 is a bit high for Cooper and I don't think the Bengals will go after a smaller WR like Lockett as Andy has problems over throwing tall receivers so why give him a smaller target to try and hit? As for the rest, I don't know much about them expect for Heuerman. I think he's good but if we have Eifert do we need basically a similar player in Heuerman?

I'm not a huge fan of McPhee either, but this year's free agent DE class is crap.  Hue has said they want to add speed, they have enough size, and Lockett also brings return capability.

Probably in free agency, but none of the FA LBs do much for me either.

Yeah, there's only one addition at LB and it's Davis Tull, a small school 3-4 DE attemping to change positions. Tull's measuarables are impressive as hell, but he's too much of a project to provide much help immediately.

Bite the bullet and draft a guy early.

It's a paper thin draft class I admit, but Dupree, O2, and Preston Smith are quality prospects that offer upside to any team willing to shop early.

If Dupree is there, he'd be my choice in 1, but I don't think he will be. O2s health issues concern me. I wouldn't be upset with Smith, but not in 1.
