You beat the filter.

It would be awesome if the NFL appeals after the stealers game and wins. Brady is suspended again for 4 games.

I would need hard evidence to believe Brady was innocent, ...but of the two evils, ...I hate Goodell more.

I hope Brady wins it all and we get a new commissioner.

It's pretty sad everyone is rejoicing over the weakening of the NFL.

Blame Goodell being such a scumbag and their arbitrary enforcement of his conduct policy.

What I think is sad is the assumption that he's anything more than a league figurehead doing the bidding of the owners.  He's meant to be a lightning rod for any negative press & if they do replace him it will be with someone cut from the same cloth.

Thank the unions. They weaken every industry they try to take over. Fighting for the working man. Even though Brady makes more than Goodell. People always side with the players like they have a connection with them. They don't. We have no more in common with the athletes than the suits.

If the NFL has truly been weakened;  the NFL Management office owns a large share of the blame not the players union.

They chose to go to Federal court and allowed a judgement despite several good jumping off points that would have allowed them to retain a win in public opinion and not let the commissioners power to be challenged.

They went to Federal Court without the following:

1. No real case of how a slightly deflated ball that they allow team's to control prior to the game can really effect the out come of games

2.  No proof at all that the player was involved or instructed employees to break rules

They went to court with an inconsistent process and with similar situations not even coming close to the punishment issued in this case.

Just dumb.     Anyone who couldn't see where this was going months ago was blinded by hate for the Patriots and Tom Brady.

I think it is kind of funny that everyone thinks Goodell is a scumbag and moron.  Let me ask everyone a simple question: What has been the major topic of every sports network since May 11th (Brady suspended)?  Are they even reporting baseball scores anymore?    The NFL has been the major topic of discussion for 4 straight months and they are not even in season.   In the end, nothing happens to Brady and he plays.  Kraft,  a billionaire, who is a member of a legalized money printing monopoly pays a paltry fine that will keep the soap opera alive for awhile and ratings for the Patriots vs Stealers game will set records.    Goodell will cash his $40 mil a year paycheck as the NFL grosses staggering amounts of money.

Goodell is a genius just like Miley Cyrus who made $50 million last year and only hears the cash register go off every time she does something "outrageous" and all of the prissy news people gasp in horror.   Same with the Kardashians who fucking print money like the Federal Reserve as the haters can't stop putting them on every cover and everywhere on cable.

The sooner you realize the NFL has gone to the WWE version of marketing the better off your blood pressure will be.  If the NFL, FOX, NBC and ABC really cared about the integrity of the game do you think 80% of the guys/gals doing the pre game shows and sideline reporting would be on the air?

Fox's crew is  Curt Menefee,Terry Bradshaw, Howie Long, Jimmy Johnson, Michael Strahan, Jay Glazer, and Rob Riggle.  Besides Long and maybe Menefee, the rest are a circus act.

CBS actually put Dan Marino and Shannon Sharpe on the air for years.  Cowher spends his time sucking off Pittsburgh.

lol,  Federal Court is a little different than Mean Gene and Piper's Pit.

True that the brand is so strong that scandals no matter how stupid actually serve as an interest driving force rather than the public rejecting it.

However, when you open the door for Federal Court to help the players union score victories over stuff that is typically on the negotiating table, that isn't a marketing scheme.

And the most spoiled fan base in sports got to act wounded for 4 months over a 4 game suspension. Suck it, pats fans. You are starting to give stealers fans a run for their money. And will soon surpass their fanbase numbers with bandwagon jumpers from the trendy Boston Strong movement.

Huh?   It's Patriots fan's fault that other fan bases give them the material?

I'm sure they would have been fine riding off into the offseason with another Trophy without the drama.

IMO, Jets, Ravens, Colt fan bases acted the worse and they deserved to be laughed at.    Along with any other idiot that thought a half pound of pressure meant anything in a blow out loss.

Or an idiot who thinks that the impact on the game should make any difference. If a Jags player gets busted for steroids, the league should let it go since the Jags only won 2 games all season anyway.

under inflated ball = steroids?     If you are crazy enough to believe that then you should still hold the NFL accountable because they don't have a testing process like they do for performance enhancing drugs.

*OT*

Has anyone in the NFL ever gotten testicular cancer from steroid use?
