williamsburgbengal
The way I see it is if Bradford makes it through the season they just flip him for picks to whatever qb starved team needs him thus mitigating the picks they gave up while not giving up on this season. Well, I'm sure it's an option IF Bridgewater is deemed ready to go for 2017, right now that a big IF though. One of the reasons Bradford was a solid pickup is that he does have that second year on the contract so they can maintain their flexibility. They would need to restructure his deal, his cap hit is 17 million dollar next year. Unless he torches the competition and stays healthy this season, nobody is paying draft picks for that. williamsburgbengal
He's still just a hedge against this year but yeah that cap hit is a problem. If he lights it up then they win. If not they cut him. Zimmer must think he has the team to gamble with.
