Cincy should seek pass rusher in draft

Cincinnati Bengals

Defensive end

The Bengals' pass-rush production dropped off this season, and they need someone to complement Carlos Dunlap on the other side. Wide receiver is also an option, but this draft is full of edge rushers and it would be a good time to upgrade the position. -- Katherine Terrell

We don't need a RDE .  Fred says Michael Johnson is a top 5 DE just look at his stats.  Dummies

What is your problem?

Why can't you participate in a discussion without making up outlandish lies?

What are you, 12 years old?

LOL, seriously, how dare you disagree with him.

I really hope this team doesn't draft Foster, bengals will have him in pass coverage and the Marvin will be in a press conference saying this is something he needs to learn because we expect our players to be able to do everything. So we are going to set him up in position to fail.

I get your point, but Foster's ability to cover in space are what make him a Top 15 prospect. He really is the total package.

I want Mike Williams at 9, mainly because I'm concerned Foster is going to knock himself out of the league (literally), but if the Bengals go that route, it'll be hard to be upset about it. ...although I'm sure some of you will manage.

The "consensus"-type guy I don't want is Derek Barnett, but I don't think the Bengals would take him anyway. They have a prototype for their ends, and he doesn't fit it.

Yeah I don't like Derek Barnett his sacks went up but his tackles went down every year. I'm a huge demarcus Walker fan. He can play inside on obvious passing downs with his 280 pound frame but his position is end and his swim move is a site to behold. Every single stats of his went up every year. Second rounder/late first. Also want Williams at 9 nobody's stopping that offense.

An every down 4-3 DE who can rush the passer is a first round position (like CB, LT, and QB).

But a good, smaller pass rush specialist who just plays in a rotation could be found in the 2nd-4th rounds.

Looks like they followed my advice.
