Teams are pulling out all the stops and playing their hardest when we play them in a way that we have not seen in past years. There's no denying it. And it is IMPOSSIBLE for any team in the league to match the intensity level of the teams we are playing on a week by week basis. I can almost guarantee we don't see teams play us like this next season and I anticipate us having a MUCH better record.[/quote]

Those poor, picked-upon stealers....they've suffered so much after being on top of the world!

It's like: "Yeah, because the bullseye you wear being the defending Superbowl Champs (asterik, asterik) will no longer apply because you are going to finish no better than 6-10, end up with an easier schedule, better draft picks and quite possibly a new head coach!"

Actually, I agree with the stealer fan 100%.

Because the same thing happened to the Cincinnati Bengals.

The NFL was so intimidated by the 1988 AFC Champion Bengals, that from 1989 to 2002, every
team we played their brought A game. It was like their Super Bowl when they played against us.

But since Marvin Lewis arrived, we have lost the league's respect and teams don't try as hard
against us, thus we win now more often than we lose.

Damn Marvin Lewis !!!!

I went to the BMV in Montgomery across from camargo cadillac..this skinny bitch was processing me and i wanted bengals lic plates...she said you sure about that! I looked at her and said where you from cleveland or pissburgh..she said she is from here and she likes the stealers...WTF! In a way, us Bengals fans owe Big Ben Rothlisberger a Big Thank You, for allowing us the opportunity to witness his true mediocrity and reliance upon a consistent running game in this season in order to validate his record-breaking performances as a QB en-route to his lovely 15-1 rookie season to his injury-induced success in the playoffs while surrounded by an awesome defense last year as well as an extra set of black-and-white-striped defenders.
