Its still good company to in. Who wouldn't want the second best WR on your team.
If they're giving out rings I want one.

Ok, for all of you #### out there who seem to think that speed and athleticism make a great receiver need to learn what truly makes a great receiver. A great receiver shouldn't be defined by his 40 time, but by his will to do whatever it takes to win the game. Would Chad Johnson throw his body in front of a 300 pound defensive lineman on a run play? He would however complain that the play was run instead of a pass to "ocho cinqo". How often do you see marvin harrison lower his shoulder into a defensive player for that extra yard? As soon as he catches the ball he hits the ground or runs out of bounds. I'm not saying these guys can't make plays, because they are great at making plays. But they need to be reminded that the only reason that they got the ball was because the line blocked, the quarterback threw the ball, and the other receivers ran their routes correctly. Every single catch is a team effort, the great receivers realize that and in return to whatever they can for their teamates. Instead of half-heartedly running a backside route, they run it as if they were going to get the ball. Instead of jogging downfield on a run play they block whoever is in their way, linebacker, DB, or lineman. It doesn't matter. If you want a current player who exemplifies that, look no further than wines hard. He is a receiver who truly plays to win the game. Its about time receivers stop taking time thinking of their endzone dances and start being team players.

Betcha guys can't guess who this guy is a fan of. hahahahahahaaaaa

wines hard the best reciever in the league. Best Reciever and wines hard should never be in the same sentence.

you know a whole buch of indy fans voted like three times each because they have no life, that pole means nothing. the only thing marvin's got on ocho cinco is a ring, and when chad reaches the stage of his career marvin is in...he will have at least 1 maybe 2

Marvin deserves to win this poll more than Chad, and hence he did. I'm glad to see Chad finish second in the eyes of unbiased NFL fans, and I find it a little goofy to complain about that.

H-ines W-ard was a strange inclusion in the list though... Torry Holt would make much more sense (I'd have voted him the best in the league). So would Steve Smith. So would Larry Fitzgerald. So would Anquan Boldin. So would Terrell Owens.
if you ask me right now reggie wayne is better than hines and moss!
I wonder what Moss would do with Manning as his QB?

Ward is a tremendous talent, but lacks the big play sex appeal of a Harrison or CJ. Rate the top possession receivers in the league, and tell me where Ward is on the list?

Ward is probably 2nd or third among posession receivers, but now with the emergance of T.J. and Marques Colston, he might not even be that anymore.
