Today`s game may or may not be be streamed on SopCast.

They don`t have it listed yet, and I don`t know what their problem
is over there anymore. I`ll keep checking their forum to see if there
are any updates. And post them if I see any.

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. - Defensive tackle John Thornton missed just his second game in 72 as a Bengal Sunday when he didn't dress and backup Michael Myers got his first start in Cincinnati and 65th of his NFL career.

Thornton injured his neck last Sunday against pissburgh and came back to practice Friday but apparently didn't pass muster during pregame warmups.

Even with Rudi Johnson active, Kenny Watson got his fifth straight start at running back. But with Watson coming off a concussion against the Steelers and Johnson dressing for the first time since his hamstring tightened Oct. 14 in Kansas City, the Bengals figure to rotate them.

The Bengals also deactivated punt returner Skyler Green after he has returned all nine punts this year and wide receiver Antonio Chatman is expected to replace him.

Thornton, Green inactive

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- Defensive tackle John Thornton, who has missed just one game in four-plus seasons with the Bengals, is inactive today for the game against the Bills. Thornton suffered a neck stinger at the end of the Steelers game last week.

Also, punt return man/wide receiver Skyler Green is inactive. Wide receiver Antonio Chatman will return punts today.

Also inactive are right tackle Willie Anderson (knee), linebackers Ahmad Brooks (groin) and Caleb Miller (back), cornerback David Jones and center Dan Santucci. Jeff Rowe is the third quarterback.

Starting lineup changes:

-- Michael Myers will start at right defensive tackle for Thornton.

-- Anthony Schlegel will start at middle linebacker for Brooks.

-- Stacy Andrews will start at right tackle for Anderson.

-- Kenny Watson will start his fifth consecutive game at tailback, though Rudi Johnson is active for the first time since Oct. 14 at Kansas City. Johnson has missed three of the past four games with a hamstring injury. Johnson will play today and said, during the week, that he is 100 percent healthy. Coaches are concerned about Johnson's fatigue coming off the hamstring injury.
I wonder what kind of compromising pix of Marvin or Mike Brown that Chatman owns to even have a spot on the roster, much less being active for a game...

they've both been on the field at the same time before though, and the loss of Thornton opens a spot anyway. I wonder what's wrong with Green, or what he did...

It also means that wide receiver Marcus Maxwell dresses for the first time and should see extensive duty in a game that figures to be decided in large part by special teams.

The Bengals are trying to infuse the NFL's worst punt return against the league's best. Green has more fair catches (10) than returns and has a 4.2-yard average compared to the Bills' Roscoe Parrish's 21-yard average. The Bengals also need to cover dangerous kick return man Terrence McGee, the cornerback who has five career touchdowns with most recent one coming against Dallas last month.

The one before that came against the Bengals in Buffalo's Christmas Eve 2005 upset in Paul Brown Stadium, a miserable day for special teams coach Darrin Simmons.

Simmons, one of the more superstitious men in the NFL, dreaded the game even before head coach Marvin Lewis decided to introduce the special teams during pregame for the first time that season. It came almost a year to the day that Bills tackle Jason Peters fueled another Buffalo victory at PBS when he blocked a punt in the end zone.

"He definitely has his routines," said safety John Busing of Simmons. "He's thorough...It's the kind of game where we have to be disciplined and stay in our lanes."

Also inactive for the Bengals were right tackle Willie Anderson, middle linebackers Ahmad Brooks and Caleb Miller, cornerback David Jones and offensive lineman Dan Santucci.
OK, they just posted this in their forum (it`s the top link) . . .

i hope next week they just tell us what is covered like on thursday and then do this again
Two reasons for the last-minute postings of stream channels:

1. Every other site steals our info. This way we can keep it from being widespread.

2. The later we post it, the less chance things get shut down in advance. (If you were here for the Week 3 or 4 shutdown due to SopCast pressure from the NFL, you'd understand.)
So it appears that the game will indeed be streamed . . .

4.2 yds per punt return --- not good. He already lost the Kickoff return job. I'd like to see Green preform as the returner and use Holt as the 3rd receiver. Too bad Green is not getting it done.

Fuck. Huge big fuck. I've had a working direct MMS link for a WATH feed that's worked perfectly for 20 odd months because most of the gamelive links are blacklisted for the UK. Today it's not WATH but ESPN radio :(

Might be the quietest week you'll have from me yet (stop cheering at the back!).

Edit - Haha. Sussed it ;)
