Jon Gruden has been praising the Bengals on NFL Network for 2 straight days.
He has said:
- That Rey would be the rookie of the year and is someone who "will smash you"
- That he is a fan of Marvin Lewis and they go way back
- That Andre Smith was the best tackle in the draft
- That Micheal Johnson has the potential to be an all pro
- That our TE pick was one of the most prolific TE's in Div 1 history
- That the punter was a great pick who can change the field position
- He picked the Bengals out for having the best Draft class thus far
- Praised the Bengals for winning their last 3 games
- Said he wanted to go buy a Rey jersey and that Rey would "look great" in those Bengal unis

He has been very good.
I also liked when he said "I'm reading my notes...I have no idea what Denver is doing!"

Gruden dreams of being Brat ... Brat dreams of being himself.

"Palmer doesn't give a shit. He hates the Steelers. He hates their colors. And, yes, he hates their fans." - CHFF article.
"He's as talented as anyone in the league," Carson Palmer said of Chris Henry. "He's as talented Chad is."

God, could you two be more delusional? Or are you just so entrenched in your "WE LOVE BOB BRAT" attitude it's too late to change it now? Seriously, you just said a guy who won a SUPER BOWL as a HEAD COACH wants to be an OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR who has overseen a single winning season. That's so retarded it actually hurts my head a little bit.
Oh yeah, we're taking Eugene Monroe over Andre Smith "every time" right guys?

WHY THE FUCKING NINJA?!?
I'd love to have Chucky on the staff. As long as we get to keep Marvin @ HC. I fucking love me some Marvin -_-
"If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issuance of their currency, first by inflation, and then by deflation, the banks and the corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of all property until their children wake up homeless on the continent their father's conquered ... I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies ... The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the Government, to whom it properly belongs." -Thomas Jefferson - January, 1815
“Statesmen will invent cheap lies, putting blame upon the nation that is attacked, and every man will be glad of those conscience-soothing falsities, and will diligently study them, and refuse to examine any refutations of them; and thus he will by and by convince himself that the war is just, and will thank God for the better sleep he enjoys after this process of grotesque self-deception.”—Mark Twain, Chronicle of Young Satan

That has to be about the most foolish thing I've read on here in some time... a head coach with a Super Bowl victory on his resume wishing he was like Brat... you and Go should do stand up.
Bunghole, on Apr 26 2009, 06:57 PM, said:
alright then... he played against the team he'd been the head coach of for the previous 4 years in that same Super Bowl... so it wasn't as if he left a shit house in Oakland for the Penthouse of Tampa Bay. He'd assembled a good team out there.
Bratkowski instead of Gruden... you guys are freaking hilarious!!!

There is no such thing as a stupid question, but there are A LOT of inquisitive idiots!!!

Politics is supposed to be the second oldest profession. I have come to realize that it bears a very close resemblance to the first.
The problem is not that people are taxed too little, the problem is that government spends too much.
The government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.- Ronald Reagan
