Bengals LB's Santa Claus is coming to town video played at the Lions game!!!

Recommended Posts

my brother e-mailed the Bengals regarding when it would be released and this was the reply:

Thanks for writing.

Yes, that video piece has turned out to be quite popular. If you are a season ticket holder, you will be receiving the video via email by the end of the week. For those that are not STHs, the video will be available for viewing on Bengals.com. As of now it looks like the timing for viewing on Bengals.com will be this coming Monday.

That's great!

And while I'm in "beggars and choosers" mode, whom would I talk to about seeing if the Bengals would release the audio for the OLD version of the Who Dey song? This would be the one they played at Riverfront after scoring drives, and it goes:
Cin-cinn-a-ti! Cin-cinn-a-ti!

We've got a team right here in town
Ain't gonna never let us down
Who Dey! Who Dey!
Who Dey think gonna beat dem Bengals?!

Block and tackle, watch 'em fall
We are here to have a ball
Who Dey! Who Dey!
Who Dey think gonna beat dem Bengals?!

...missing third verse...

Riverfront is where they play
Bengal stripes are here to stay!
Who Dey! Who Dey!
Who Dey think gonna beat dem Bengals?!

No--o--o--o--o--BODY!
They sometimes play the first verse, but they repeat the final two lines and then skip straight to No-body! I want the original and I know they've got it... the first verse is identical to what was pumped through the speakers at Riverfront.

So, was the something Dhani himself came up with? If so, I would have to say this was a real savvy way to for the defense, if not the whole team, to take a step back, take a cleansing breath, lighten up, and have fun. If this is the case, this might be the biggest team leader moves in a long time for this team, as silly as the product happened to be.
