  1. Past hour
  2. 2 teams that could take possibly Murphy - Minnesota at 11 and Denver at 12 - are also trying to move up to get a QB. Minnesota has 2 number ones as a starting point. Denver doesn't have a lot of draft capital, but there's been talk that Patrick Surtain could be available. Both Arizona and the Chargers could use an elite CB. I also wonder if Penix could be an option for one of these teams if they can't trade up into the top 5.
  3. I wouldn't say 5 QBs is a lock. It would be nice if 5 or 6 were taken ahead of us but I'd put the over/under on that at 4 QBs. There will certainly be more than 1 O-lineman taken though your guess is as good as mine as to who they are.
  4. Back in the preseason last year, the NFLN had a segment on who would be breakout players for 2023. Schrager was touting CTB even then. Cam would make a high quality CB2 if he stays healthy and available. But he's at best an average CB1 when healthy. Someone like Quinyon Mitchell has a much higher ceiling than Cam.
  5. Today
  6. So, they're saying that the Bengals hold Estime... in high esteem? Cool.
  7. Less than a week to go until the draft, and there seems to be a growing consensus that there are 12 players who are an absolute lock to go in the first 17 picks. Not saying they will be the first 12 picks or who might select each and every one, only that they will surely be off the board before pick 18. 5 QBs - Williams/Maye/Daniels/McCarthy/Penix (Penix might seem like a reach, but there are so many teams in the top 16 or so that need a QB...Seattle at pick 16 feels like his floor) 3 WRs - Harrison/Nabers/Odonze 1 TE - Bowers 1 OL - Alt 1 EDGE - Turner 2 CBs - Arnold/Mitchell That would 5 other players will be selected before pick 18. The Bengals have to be hoping that an EDGE or 2 like Verse/Latu go in the first 17 picks. There will be some other offensive linemen taken ahead of pick 18, depending on team grades and scheme fit. Denver at 12 definitely could take Murphy if they can't use the pick to solve their QB problem. The Broncos don't have the draft capital to move up. The New Orleans at 14 will definitely be going OL but which one... Fashanu, Fuaga, Fantanu or Latham? Seattle at 16 is another team that could go OL. Jacksonville would like to go CB but maybe both Arnold/Mitchell are off the board. If they don't have a particular OL prospect they covet there, the Jags could trade back like they did last year. Some team might want to come after Murphy (if he's still on the board) or a sliding OT that they fear the Bengals would select.
  8. Agree 100%. That 3rd round comp pick seems like the perfect opportunity.
  9. ^ Bengals should take Estime with one of their 3rd Rd picks. Can't risk waiting longer.
  10. I would change it to Ja'Marr Chase and... some other jags.
  11. No idea...this one REEKS of the awful "city connect" look MLB has been rolling out for every team.
  12. It’s some strange way of being “cool” with one’s locals I reckon. Cleveland has this annoying “The Land” going on with the Cavs and the GuarIndians. NY has a wide arrangement of things from Statue of Liberty heads to the new Mets ensemble simply saying “Queens”. The trend isn’t new really. An old one from long ago was this Alway thought this on was weird. They didn’t play in San Francisco, and the name “Golden State” had nothing to do with San Francisco either. The fixed that—even though they now do play in “the City”—by just making it a region
  13. NBA Playoffs....8:30pm Nuggets vs Lakers Lebron and Davis will challenge the Nuggets but Joker, Murray and Porter may be to much. Prediction game 1.. Nuggets win at home
  14. How do teams consistently screw uniforms up this badly? It's different for the sake of being different, and in a horrible way.
  15. Rams / Bengals Super Bowl coming up right now on NFL Network…in case anyone is a glutton for punishment.
  16. This is thinking ahead to an extension contract down the road.
  17. All draft picks are slotted. There is little, if any room for negotiation. Even this dickbag can’t monkey with it
  18. Hard to say as to the photo ( as his numbers were 4 and 12), but the man was definitely the pride of Lakeridge HS and THE Oregon State University
