  1. On that last drive they executed well, it seems like just a matter of when Taylor is willing to just play normal football. Let's not forget that nearly every game Browning has started began with clown show nonsense plays and being way behind on the scoreboard.
  2. Seriously, Wilson is a liability in coverage this season, something that was a strength in his career. Injured?
  3. Not dissimilar from his INT last week. Corner fooled Browning into thinking he'd cover the short man and bailed out of it. Hudson had nobody within 15 yards of him
  4. Was the hold actually called on Williams? Didn't look like he even came close to holding him, he just got beat. Maybe Cappa held Ogunjobi?
  5. A number of players on both the Bears and Titans defenses looked like they forgot how to play football in the last 4 or 5 minutes. Just jogging as the play is live, looking around all "confused", not trying to tackle... wtf is up with this league?
  6. Jeez Eisen bursts out with Steeler love as bad as any announcer out there. It's like a Steeler fan on their couch making comments.
  7. I didn't even see it hit anybody, was there an angle that showed it hit a Bengal?
  8. Yup, whoever was over the C/LG absolutely crumpled the C back into Mullens which keyed the whole play.
  9. Incredible effort, the defense was hot garbage for at least 3 quarters but pulled it out when it mattered. Jake Browning still doesn't flinch even after a bad INT and a couple other poor choices, and wins the game.
  10. Um, they picked up the flag and said "it was not illegal block in the back because the ball was already caught.".... huh? It wasn't a fair catch so... ???
  11. That's all they're doing with Browning, it's working extremely well.
  12. We already faced Dobbs against the Cardinals 😜
  13. To add to that, and I think it's just an extension of what you guys are saying - being under center changes attack angle for DE's. They don't know what drop you're going to use on a pass so they can't just pick a technique and sprint, as T-Dub said they have to read & react, and they have run responsibility to contain as well. Not only that, we've seen some (very) effective pass protections in this scheme where Browning drops back and his blind-side is completely walled off and he can just read what he sees.
  14. This is true and has been stated by Joe more than once. I think Jaime is spot on, though, that this has to change. It only depends on whether you believe Joe was already open to it (from at least this preseason), or he's been stubbornly insisting they DON'T do it up to now, and will continue to do so. I've been thinking the past two games as they show Joe on the sideline, "I sure hope he sees how easy it is to move the ball if you just mix up the formations and run some play action...". We will know pretty quickly next season re: Joe and his willingness to go under center. I don't think it's a total coincidence that Joe has been injured the past two preseasons and seemingly in the bodily areas he was intensely working on to "improve" (i.e. in 2022: arm strength/power = core -> burst appendix; 2023: running/scrambling = legs -> torn calf). Time to toss the body sculpting agenda and learn some game-winning football techniques.
  15. I assume Dehner's stats take in all the snaps Browning has taken? I only say this because against the Stealers (and the fill-in against the Ravens) he was clearly hampered by still feeling out the offense and the pressure was coming from everywhere in both games - he was holding the ball in those situations to avoid bigger problems. In the last two he's both been pressured less *and* when he's had blitzers basically right inside his facemask he's completed tough passes several times. I bet we see this stat get better in the next games as long as they stick to these overall play style choices. I was especially impressed with his pass to Boyd somewhere near our 5 yard line in this last game... it was late in the progression and some Colt LB was coming at him untouched and full speed and Browning waited until the last possible second. It was really something. Compare that to someone like a Zach Wilson who would have chucked-and-ducked (or just ducked) for sure.
  16. lol there must have been 3 blocks in the back on that Rams punt. Ohhhhh well...
  17. All this and you guys didn't even use the best Chuck Norris one-liner? Here, I'll do it: Jake Browning's tears cure cancer; too bad he's never cried...
