    I think we live in a ridiculous time where just because we are forced to vote for what we believe is always the lesser evil we get pegged as a socialist... Liberal... Ultra conservative even though we don't agree with everything they say...

    We live with different levels of socialism in our lives everyday... To me it's a matter of the level of socialism you want to live with... It is also what is the right level of socialism that will balance out the greed and excess of a completely free market system....

    We are all living and utilizing a socialist society so "accusing" someone of being a socialist is a talking point cop out that divisive forms have media have thrust upon us and some have run with....

    Took the words right out of my mouth.. So unless you want to do away with the standing army, public police force, public fire, public roads, the mail system and everything else the government does for us you too are a socialist. The question as you point out is;  How much of a socialist are you?

    1) You are right - it isn't your call

    2) What got us looking at your 'thread o' crap' was that your racist post was reported.  Truthfully you and the thread should have probably been cut off much sooner.

    3)  It is much easier to HIDE (not delete) the thread than wade through 17 pages of BS.  

    4)  If you are looking for another site where you can post that drivel, I'm sure you can find one that would fit your needs better than this one.

    5)  Consider this (or Numbers quote in the first post) your warning.  

     

    Just to emphasize, for the record, nothing was deleted, it was simply removed from view of the general populace. The thread in it's entirety or in whatever edited form the mods and admins see fit could potentially be re-instated or it may simply remain hidden forever.

     

    This is an ongoing conversation and anyone who feels strongly about it has the opportunity to make their voices heard and appeal to higher powers if need be. Which is why we don't delete threads. Nothing that cannot be undone, or gone back and done differently has happened.

    Their starting lineup consists of:

     

    19 yr old Sophomore PG, sophomore SG OR Junior Jr college transfer SG, Junior Small Fwd, Freshman Power Fwd, Junior Jr college transfer Center.  

     

    That's what it looked like. Decent athletes but tentative, and kind of soft. They will grow into a fine team it looks like to me.
