  1. I like the plan that keeps our QB from getting hit 48 times in a game. FIX THE OFFENSIVE LINE !!!!!
  2. Minor adjustment: If the tag for Tee for 2024 is $21m, then the tag for Tee for 2025 would be at least $25.2m (20% increase).
  3. Oh, wait, my bad…that’s Cecily Strong. 😇
  4. Yeah, that was all bad luck due to the injury. The Bengals would be getting blasted if Trey had a similar injury and Lawson played well.
  5. Mrs. Cricket: “When is he [Mahomes] going to be old enough to grow a real mustache?”
  6. Yeah, but there are many ways to even out the exchange and potentially make it palatable to each team. Such as: we swap 1st-round picks and 2nd-round picks and they give us their 3rd-round pick…or, more preferably, we swap 1st-round picks and they give us their 2nd-round pick. if we want to get something for Tee, it’ll just take some creativity.
  7. The better Mahomes plays, the more he can expect to receive in any restructuring of his contract…which limits KC’s ability to surround him with good players.
  8. First of all, I have NO idea how good any of these guys are, and am basically getting my “info” from what you guys post. In this draft, with Fashanu, Mims, Guyton, Powers-Johnson, and others still available at pick 18, it seems like trading down a few spots and picking up another draft pick (assuming we can find a trade partner) might be a wise move. Is Fashanu expected to be that much better? Just asking, as I really have no idea.
  9. Pro-bowl was rigged. Refs swallowed their whistles as the AFC receiver was held, preventing him from catching what would have been the game-winner on 4th-and-goal with just a few seconds left. 😡 🥷
  10. Apparently the rules for where to post pro-bowl information are just like the rules used at the pro-bowl…totally misunderstood and loosely applied. It’s like a bunch of 8-year-olds making up the rules as they go…. No 🥷
  11. Andre Smith was very much a “God is in control” kind of guy, and it took him awhile to figure out that he needed to WORK to get better. Jackson Carman is cut from the same cloth.
  12. The team’s recent history says otherwise. They are more likely to address it in free-agency and throw a bandaid on it. OL in round-1 WOULD be a shock…but a shock that many (including Joe Burrow) would be thrilled to see. 🦗
  13. I certainly have more confidence in Joe Burrow running a Jake Browning game plan than Jake Browning running a Joe Burrow game plan (which they tried to do in Jake’s first start). 🤨
  14. Just an interesting FYI…Pro-bowl center Jason Kelce was a linebacker when he started at UC.
  15. Boogar’s best impersonation of Captain Obvious. 🤨 Even Mrs. Cricket recognized the stupidity of passing up the FG attempt to go up three scores. [In Dan Campbell’s defense, there were two or three fairly easy catches that his receivers failed to haul in that would have made a huge difference, including on that specific 4th-down play.]
  16. My “?” was meant for New Jersey Bengals’ post: “Not that was luck” Thats on me for not making it clear. 🦗
  17. Even my wife knew that a FG was the right choice when up 14.
  18. Saw this on Facebook: …looks about right to me. [So that you don’t have to zoom in, for Ohio it says “SCREW THEM BOTH”]
  19. Josh Allen and/or the Offensive Coordinator just plain got stupid on that last drive. All they had to do was to keep stacking the first downs and burn the clock. Instead there were two very long throws with little chance of success…and if one of those long throws would have been successful, they would have given Kermit more than enough time to counter. 🦗
