I figured it was a matter of time until some team simply went back to pure power running and ran over this new generation of lighter faster LBs and defensive ends. The Buckeyes were just blown away by Wolverines’ run blocking. The Stealers will try the same tomorrow.
Yeah, disappointing. But it was like pay back to see the bengals do the same thing yesterday. One well deserved punch in the mouth after another. So satisfying. And yes, I'm still alive.

I just hope this old ticker can handle the TSUN and the stealers in one weekend.

Nah, it would only be his first personal foul so its just a fine. Farting in Chipotle is a simple 5 yard penalty and automatic first down. Farting in Home Depot gets you a Caterpillar Hat.
I should have a shit load of hats.

Burfict is getting a big one for, as Hooky said, farting in Starbucks.
It caused quite a stink in the hipster and yuppie communities.
It was vicious. And he has a history. He was caught doing the same thing at Chipotle and Home Depot in the past. His season may be over.

I know. The topic has the brain rollin thinking about trades that's all.
And it was a good point that they have done a good job benefiting from those transactions.

Going off memory but Dre Kirkpatrick, Gio, Iloka, and Marvin Jones were all obtained from draft picks acquired by trades. Carson Palmer trade. Chad Johnson trade, and I think they moved down to grab Zielter and pick up an extra pick and that series of moves generated those 4 key players.
Pretty strong, IMO.
I was talking about them going after a player under contract with another team via trade. Not players acquired in the draft from teams agressively pursuing Bengals players.

I wouldn't call Mike Brown a wheeler dealer, lol. The Bengals have done trades out of TC. Taylor Mays? They also nabbed a former 1st round CB from Seattle can't remember the name? I think they dump a RB on the Saints for a pick, 1 year.
Trades involving draft picks have been way more common with the Bengals. There are multiple key players in this training camp that were obtained with drafts picks from trades.
Can't remember the exact transaction to acquire Taylor Mays, but Mikey very rarely trades for players. He just waits for them to get thrown on the trash heap and rummages. Not that it's a bad approach. A lot of NFL trades have been disasters for certain teams, but then again, there are a lot of what ifs from Mikey not even seemingly considering trading for players.

Silly rabbits. Mike Brown doesn't trade.
Name the last significant player the Bengals traded for.

Again I have no idea why we'd risk Williams getting poached off the PS for the sake of Margus Hunt.
Agree. And Denarius Moore over Brandon Tate. I'm good with the rest. Though I agree that Carter should get a shot. Since he was the only one that made a play the other night.
Would you prefer the Bengals lose out?

This kind of stupidity epitomizes why I left the board a couple of years ago. Shitcan the season with 7 games left and only a game out of playoff contention? They didn't lose the Stealers game because Burrow was out. It was because our defense is total shit. They let the shittiest offense in the league get over 400 yards. That will be the reason if we don't make the playoffs. If our defense even upgrades to not too crappy, there will be a chance. It's sad that there are a bunch of members here that will be disappointed if we win without Burrow and weaken his legacy. I left because I knew that reading these posts is pointless. So predictable.
