  2. So what happens if 2 of our LBs get injured during a game? It's definitely happened before, it might happen again.
  3. I like this move, keeping quality players around never hurts.

  5. Yeah, getting Trent Williams or a comparable talent would be unBengal like
  6. Ol' I wanna speak to the manager face...I'm sure the Bengals media will get right on it for you, sir. What is your obsession with Westerman, clearly you hold him in higher regard than the rest of the NFL. Maybe you get a GM job ala Mike Mayock and sign Westerman so you can finally see him realize his potential.
  7. Still I would say that a team runs a 4-3 base defense would keep more than 4 LBs on the 53 man roster. I would say 5 or 6 at the most, but who I don't know. Maybe Davis, or some other cap casualty to be determined later.
  8. I think they will, especially for Brown. He has played himself onto the 53 man roster and he's just scratching the surface of his potential. Brown has a similar build and athletic ability as HOFer Reggie White, imho. Obviously, he is nowhere near the level of player that White was but I believe the potential is there. His power to speed ratio is elite, he just needs to refine his techniques and become more consistent. https://www.bengals.com/news/brown-s-elite-traits-try-to-find-spot-on-talented-front
  9. Not why anyone thinks Eifert will be starting when Uzomah has been the starter all preseason, gotten the majority of the reps as the starter, received a big money extension, and is listed as the starter on the official team website....besides that, sure put Eifert in there because of what....his 2015 season....
  10. Anderson should just be IR'd for this season, the Bengals have plenty of talent at RB and he's clearly not over his injury bug.
  11. You have to factor in the media hype that he has received since college, he was billed as the second coming of Peyton Manning and was the face of the league this year in many national marketing campaigns.
  12. Browns fans are so cute, for a team that has won 11 games in 4 years they are extremely confident. All of this hype is ridiculous, they have done nothing to have this type of expectations.
  13. They do that anymore, now every team waits until the last preseason game they go from 90+to 53 afterwards....they need lambs for the slaughter.
  14. You have the perfect avatar....you are grumpy as shit...
  15. This is very accurate, too many times last season they couldn't get off the field on 3rd downs. They improved as the season went on but they were still pretty awful in pass protection.
  16. The surgery he had has atleast a 12 week recovery time, its been 4 weeks so he has 8 weeks to go which would be the end of October. The next game is after the bye, November 10th...week 10 for the NFL but the 9th game for the Bengals. It's going to take some time for Green to go from not walking to playing in the NFL, no reason to rush him back in what is essentially a rebuilding year.
  17. I don't think AJ will be back before the bye, I can see him coming back on November 10th vs Ravens at home. No reason for him to rush back, especially when he is a free agent at the end of the season. He's still in a boot so that means he can't do any rehab or strength conditioning.
  18. Sounds like you're still upset with your old boss more so than Luck. Maybe he planned to announce it after the game, as not be a distraction, but Schefter got the scoop? Maybe try some empathy instead of judging him without all of the facts.
  19. Price has everything to do with it because he was drafted in the first round to be the starting center and was that guy, when healthy, all last year. You seem to be taking veiled shots at Hopkins, for whatever reason, but this is from the new Head Coach on why he chose Trey over Price: What did Hopkins do to set himself apart? “He’s been consistent over the course of his career. He’s done a good job, whether that be at guard or at center. He’s earned his spot. It’s been more about him raising his level of play than it has been about anyone not playing well. He’s earned that spot. We have a lot of faith in him, and we’re going to continue to have a lot of faith in him moving forward. It’s an opportunity that he’s earned.” Clearly the front office and coaching staff think that Trey has been better than sub-par and don't believe his play has faded when he's gotten the opportunity to play. The past regime would play players based on the their tenure and draft position vs. their talent and on field production....It's a New Dey
  20. Watching the Stealers it obvious Ben is only comfortable throwing to JuJu and Conner, they should be relatively easily to game plan for...if JuJu isn't double covered on every play the opposing DC should be fired on Monday morning.
  21. They've got some good young talents waiting in the wings; between Mahommes, Wilson, and Watson they will be just fine....but they are all...well never find...I forgot that I'm living in a post-racial America..so yeah.
