  1. Did you see Siemian play in the preseason...I think it's interesting that any team signed him especially the Jets who actually need help at QB. Siemian is washed up, the Jets would have been better off signing Carson Wentz or Colin K.
  2. Just like with any contract extension the sooner the better as the price is only going up, they definitely need to get this done before Burrow's extension is up in 2030
  3. I went to Usher's show in Vegas and it was a great show, Usher is the ultimate performer so it will be very entertaining.
  4. You clearly have no clue what the hell you are talking about, it's not unskilled labor...you act like they are Lucille Ball working at the chocolate factory, so anyone that works at a plant is a braindead zombie. Please explain how they are sealing their own casket.
  5. Fitzpatrick was in no danger of being trucked...he went low at an angle that would cause injury and it was unnecessary. He was probably tired of getting trucked and embarrassed by Chubb so we went for his knees when he was defenseless like the lil bitch he is.
  6. Vontaze was interviewed by Pac and this was what he said about the hit on Chubb https://www.cincyjungle.com/2023/9/21/23883617/vontaze-burfict-on-nick-chubb-injury-you-dont-go-for-a-dudes-knee
  7. The game plan and play calling needs to protect Burrow if they know he's only %50-75 healthy...don't call so many pass plays if he's showing you he can't plant and throw with accuracy and timing...run the damn ball. I was watching how Kyle Shannan, the best offensive coach in the NFL, protects Brock Purdy and puts him in manageable situations that make it easier for him to have success and wonder why can't we do the same for Joe.
  8. This looks like the secondary group, Hubbard wouldn't be practicing with them.
  9. It was obviously something or he wouldn't have gotten arrested. Sounds like he was trying to move seats before take-off, which no airline will let you do, after take-off... sure have it...he doesn't have good conflict resolution skills and thinks the rules of society are optional, this is based on his numerous and lengthy arrest record for dumb shit. Pacman has grown and matured, undoubtedly, but causing an issue on an airplane on 9/11 is fucking dumb...and if me thinking that makes me a shitty human then call me Shitty McShitface... Go hates us more than Phil Castellini hates Reds fans...
  10. Nick Foles would be the guy I would go after, he's won a Super Bowl and has proven he can hold a team down for a few months if needed. Foles worked with Press Taylor, Zac's brother in Philly were they won a Super Bowl together...he could be the family's good luck charm.
  11. If you look at the stats, it seems like he regressed from 2016 to 2018 and that could be the reason why he wasn't drafted. I don't follow Huskie football so I don't have any context but the numbers show a huge regression in TD passes and an increase in INTs. Here's his scouting report per NFL.com I feel like Zac is trying to live vicariously through these marginally talented backups he keeps bringing in here to play, physically Browning is eerily similar to Taylor... the Bengals' backup QB position is like reverse affirmative action for non-athletic white QBs...lol
  12. I realize that, but he doesn't have to say what he said. He doesn't need to give play-calling recommendations to the coaches, let the fans and media do that. If he is going to do that, do it privately not in the media.
  13. Sounds like it was a mutual fight and the guy got unlucky...but no, no game is worth fans killing each other over. I've been to a few sporting events in my life and every time there is some dumb shit happening it's normally between two drunk people. The NFL especially has a problem with alcohol abuse at its events, mainly because of the tailgating culture in which people get drunk hours before the game and then drink more when get into the stadium.
  14. One problem, our HC who also calls plays is allergic to running the ball. Taylor is notoriously pass-happy, even in a downpour with an injured QB and a RB averaging 5 YPC
  15. There are plenty of guys who were "the best HS players" at their respective positions that can't play in the NFL, that title is vague and politically driven...Andrew Brown, former Bengal, was also considered the best HS player, and won a Gatorade award...he can barely keep a PS spot in the NFL. I'm not saying that Browning has no chance, but if he were good he would have been drafted and gotten an opportunity to throw more than 1 pass in his NFL career. His preseason play was uninspiring and his practice play was as well...Hopefully, I'm wrong, I would love to see him light it up like Brock Purdy or Cooper Rush.
  16. Just put him on IR already, eat the frog... We aren't winning with him limping around, throwing passes all willy nilly...I would rather lose with Burrow on IR getting healthy than lose with him getting beat up or playing like crap(our current situation). This could be a blessing in disguise as it can show the Bengals they need to take the backup QB situation more seriously and stop letting Zac Taylor pick guys like Ryan Finley, who is now a Pro Pickleball player(seriously), Brandon Allen, who took a demotion to leave the team, and now Jake Browing, who only had to beat out Trevor Seiman for the job. This season is just starting, so putting Joe on IR will not automatically doom it...in theory.
  17. Jonah is trying hard but it's not enough...that's got to be hard to deal with when you put so much time, effort, energy, etc...into something and it's still not enough.
  18. off-topic, but JaMarr should shut the fuck up...I know he's frustrated and he's not the only one but him holding court in his locker dishing out his hot takes isn't helping.
  19. The serenity prayer would help a lot of Bengals fans this week....
  20. He needs more than 11 snaps on average to make an impact, expecting him to contribute in any meaningful way with only a handful of snaps is not a realistic expectation. Murphy wasn't overly productive in college when he started against college kids who are not in the NFL, to expect him to blow doors in the NFL with 11 snaps is setting yourself up for disappointment. He seems like a Sam Hubbard type of player, decent in every aspect of the game but not overly proficient in any one area. Besides the Bengals seem to want to ease these rookies recently, Dax Hill barely played early in his career with the Bengals and now he's flying all over the field making plays.
  21. If he was getting more than a handful of snaps a game then yes, but right now he's the least of my concerns with this team. The backup rookie DE isn't going to save this season, the captains of this team have to elevate their play and the coaches have to put them in positions to be successful. The character of this team is being tested and we will see how they respond.
