  1. I'll never forget when his dad damn near killed that ref that took out his eye...that was classic
  2. He could also get the 3 strikes and go away for a long time if convicted...I wouldn't be surprised to see Mixon's sister take the fall for this to save her boo from going bye-bye for decades over something that was extremely avoidable.
  3. That's a tough one, she is his older sister and more than likely has a huge influence on his life. He probably won't be where he is today without her help, so I can understand why he wouldn't want to disown her once he became rich and successful, and until a few weeks ago nothing had happened that made it necessary...until it did. Brewer on the other hand is a violent criminal with a long track record of breaking the law, it didn't take a psychic to know that he would do something stupid...he's on a schedule..every 3-5 years he's been arrested since he was 13 years old..it's a habit for him.
  4. Carman did look bad at RG but they never played him at LT, which is what he played in college and high school, because Williams was entrenched as the starter. He look capable and I would rather him be the backup than Williams. Based on Williams salary and dead cap hit, he as to play somewhere and LG is the only option I could see working out for him.
  5. No worries...here's another one... https://caselaw.findlaw.com/ca-court-of-appeal/1879131.html Long story short, Mr. Brewer is violent and has a history of carrying and using guns, despite the fact he's a convicted felon...multiple convictions. Now he shoots at a bunch of kids playing dart wars...for what..because he's an idiot that thought he was back in Cresent Park with the Manor Boyz...what a fucking loser. He's cost Mixon millions of dollars and put his career in jeopardy so he can scare some rich kids...smh.
  6. No, he was 24 in 2013 when that court doc was filed which would make him 34, so add 10 years to your ages and it adds up.
  7. What other options do they have? He has to play somewhere, they aren't going to pay him 12 million to sit on the bench and he has no trade value. It's either that or RT and I don't know if he would be far better at RT or LG. Coming out of college a lot of scouts said Jonah would be a better OG than OT in the NFL, so why not give it a shot? If he can't handle a bull rush then he wouldn't fare well at RT, imo. At least at LG, he could get some help from the center or LT. As for Volson, he struggled quite a bit as well and we need to figure this out now while we still have Burrow, Chase, Higgins, and Boyd under contract. This can and should be the best passing offense in the NFL, and it would be if only the line could get their shit together. Volson's development is not the most important thing and having some competition will only help him.
  8. That's hard to answer based on the limited opportunities that were given to other players, but I would Jackson Carmen looked capable when he got a shot at it last year in the postseason. He wasn't constantly getting run over or through like Jonah was all year. There's a reason why the first signing the Bengals made was an LT, it was a huge need and I'm sure Burrow was on board with upgrading that position as his life is literally on the line.
  9. It has everything to do with it, if he was a UDFA or day 3 draft pick he would be off the team or a backup at best. He's not very good, you could argue he's the worst OT on the team as he was the worst starting LT in the NFL. The LT's main job is to protect the QBs' blindside and not give up sacks, Jonah was the worst in the league at it last season. If Williams wasn't a first-round he would be cut, no doubt about it as teams give first-round picks more opportunities than day 3 picks or UDFA..that is a fact. Also, he led the league in sacks allowed with 12 and that is why Orlando Brown took his job. If he did not have a dead cap number of over $12 million dollars then he would be cut as he can't perform adequately at LT and that's the only position he's ever played in the NFL. He has no trade value and no future at LT in the NFL..what else do you do with a player like that...you cut him.
  10. I say move him to LG, the spot that many people thought he should be playing in the NFL when he was first drafted and let him figure it out there. Based on his play over the past 4 years he doesn't have a bright future at LT in the NFL. iIt's reasonable to say he should be cut and would have been benched if not for his draft position and salary, so why not give him a shot to play LG which will then add to the competition at LG. A line of Brown, Williams/Volson, Karras, Kappa, Collins/Jackson/Dawand Jones(my choice)...is a huge upgrade
  11. I think her sister's boyfriend is the source of the problem, dude is a POS criminal...https://casetext.com/case/united-states-v-brewer-37 I don't know Joe or his family but having a career criminal like this hanging around you and your family doesn't normally work out for the best...I hope those kids are going to be fine... Joe's going to have one hell of a lawsuit on his hands because of this idiot shooting at kids, he might get taken for everything he's worked for.
  12. They could always buy him out when he retires or sell it to someone else. If he had %5 of a multi billion dollar business, that is good money
  13. Caroline is the obvious choice, but they should give him a percentage of ownership...seriously.
  14. They could trade him but with his salary I doubt he would have much of a market. I believe you only get a comp pick if guys who are Free Agents leave, not guys that you cut.
  15. I remember when he started his own board, sad to hear about this
  16. Ol' I wanna speak to the manager face...I'm sure the Bengals media will get right on it for you, sir. What is your obsession with Westerman, clearly you hold him in higher regard than the rest of the NFL. Maybe you get a GM job ala Mike Mayock and sign Westerman so you can finally see him realize his potential.
  17. Super Bowl here we come...I wonder if he was in Canton getting his bust created for the last few days. Seriously though, I hope everything is ok and he's ready to compete and prove all of his fan boys right about how totally awesome he is at playing football.
  18. #NewDey or whatever the fuck this dumbass tagline is....but Taylor vouched for him and he's a good guy despite his gruff exterior...he's just misunderstood that's all
  19. You do realize that PFF grades are very opinion based and not truly a result of advanced analytics. I know that some PFF guys are in fact Bengals fans, since PFF operates out of Cincinnati and is owned partly by Collinsworth, maybe some of that unintentional basis has crept into their judgment of Westerman. I would not use a week 14 PFF grade as justification for the Westerman hype that exists amongst some Bengals fans. He's the backup QB of the oline, the most popular player who never plays. I seriously doubt 3 NFL oline coaches have decided that he's a backup but PFF and certain fans know better.
  20. Consensus HS All American doesn't guarantee you an starting NFL gig, I know you know that. Cream of the PAC 12 crop is a stretch, he made 2nd All PAC 12 once. If anyone's heart isn't in it, it's Westerman, not Ross. Westerman was only playing because his was trying to please the old man, he'd probably be doing something else if it was up to him and that is what he's doing. Good for him, he's living his life and not trying to please others..#YOLO.
  21. People on here acting like Westerman is the victim of some grand conspiracy to stifle his development and keep him off the field, like he's John Conner and the Bengals oline coaches are various iterations of the Terminator sent to destroy him are hilarious at best seemed detected from reality in this situation.
  22. Lol....Marvin has nothing to do with Westerman decision, you're acting like he's a future HOF player. Dude was 5th round pick that couldn't beat out Alex Redmond and countless other stiffs for a starting gig. How many teams are beating down the door to acquire him via trade? 3 different NFL line coaches have decided to not start him.... I was wondering how long it was going to take before someone blamed Marvin Lewis for this and here it is....
