  1. This win was huge and definitely keeps us in the running and I like our chances to run the table if the Bengals can play inspired like they did last night, which will be tough but not impossible. The Colts and Vikings are very winnable games because I believe our rosters are better from top to bottom and both of those teams are starting backups...Minchew is turnover-prone and we've already beaten Dobbs once this year. The Stealers and Chiefs will be where the rubber hits the road as they have been tough opponents and have match-up problems and better coaching staffs. If the Bengals can split those 2 games they have a real shot at the playoffs. The Browns is a wild card game because we don't know who the starting QB will be and they could be completely out of the race by then if they continue to play like the have been recently, especially with Myles Garrett banged up. Flacco is washed up and the backups aren't much better so they will have to figure that situation out. It will be interesting to see how they build off this last game, hopefully the defense can fix it's issues and the offense can continue to execute at a high level.
  2. Taylor needs to be held accountable for this, it made the game much closer than it should have been because of it. Play calls like that is how you snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Hopefully, the local press will at least ask him what was he thinking when he called the 2nd trick play from the Bengals 25-yard line after the first trick play was a failure that cost the team 3 points.
  3. He's still the most reliable WR outside of Chase and I can guarantee you he wouldn't take a vet minimum type of deal. He's one of the best slot WRs in the NFL and it would be insulting if the Bengals offered him a vet minium deal. Stanley Morgan is a vet minium type of player, not TB83. Not really a debate...Reader is much better than Jonah Williams, keep in mind Jonah got replaced and his 5th year option was not picked up. He's slightly above average at best. Reader is one of the best at his position and is a team leader, you can say he's one of the best FA signings in the history of the franchise...he deserves a new contract, he's earned it.
  4. Why would Boyd take a veteran minimum deal...he would have considerable interest in the open market.
  5. Our justice system is fucked up, he's a Christian now so he got out early
  6. His daughter got raped at gun point by a grown man, nothing funny about that.
  7. Can't wait for Hunter's congressional testimony, should be interesting.
  8. I know a few alumni who did not like Hue, he's more of a carpet bagger than a SWAC coach. Hue didn't attend an HBCU, he only went to Grambling because he couldn't get an HC job anywhere else and we see why. Not everyone is cut out to be a HC. The culture for these universities is such that they are proud of their football programs and Hue didn't beat Southern, which is the Michigan to Grambling State in the Bayou Classic.
  9. It's decided then...someone inform Pollack he's been fired by the members of the GoBengals.com message board, send the jet to collect Large William, and send out the press release...Ryan you got this covered?
  10. https://www.newarab.com/news/who-are-palestinian-children-released-israeli-jail This is beyond fucked up, imprisioning a child for throwing a stone and holding them indefinitely without a trial is pure evil.
  11. That's not happening, Taylor is not getting fired with Burrow out for the year. The franchise loves this guy despite his shortcomings and they are extremely loyal, they gave Marvin 15 years and the opportunity to go 0-7 in the playoffs, Taylor went to 2 AFC championship games and a Super Bowl.
  12. That was on Drew Sample, he just completely ignored Watt and blocked no one on that play...not sure how or why you would let that happen
  13. Kalief spent 3 years in Rikers, one of the most violent prisons in the world, for a crime he was never convicted of and was released because of a lack of evidence. He eventually hung himself because of depression caused by spending 2 years in solitary confinement for a crime he didn't commit. He's just one of many unfortunate souls who have been unfairly imprisoned because of racism.
  14. The problem is partly coaching but there are not many better options out there, if you fire Pollack who is going to get to replace him? Taylor fired Pollack once before and he hired Jim Turner, who was most recently fired from Texas State for being Jim Turner. Firing people without a proven better option isn't the right thing to do, it's an emotional reaction that often blows up in your face. Willie Anderson could be a great offensive line coach, he's been coaching high school and college kids for a long time in Atlanta and he's even been consulted by some NFL teams. Having a guy who played at an HOF level coach you is different because he can teach you techniques that actually work and he's not some hack like Turner who has never played at a high level.
  15. https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2023/10/16/israeli-forces-killed-abu-akleh-without-justification-un-inquiry-says Israeli forces used “lethal force without justification” when they shot and killed Al Jazeera journalist Shireen Abu Akleh in the occupied West Bank, violating her “right to life”, according to a new report by a UN-mandated investigative body. The UN Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem and Israel “concluded on reasonable grounds that Israeli forces used lethal force without justification under international human rights law”, it said in a report released on Monday. Abu Akleh, a Palestinian-American and acclaimed correspondent for the Doha-based media network, was shot in the head while covering an Israeli military raid on the Jenin refugee camp in the occupied West Bank in May 2022
  16. We are currently living in a country that does that...it doesn't happen to people who look like you but it does happen to people who look like me and other "minorities"...
  17. There are over 7,500 Palestinian hostages being held by Israel in prisons, many are being held without any evidence or right to a trial....that is terrorism https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palestinian_prisoners_in_Israel#:~:text=Israel holds about 4%2C500 Palestinian, the right to a trial.

  20. Interesting...so did it ever occur to you that October 7th was an action that was aimed at getting back the over 2,000 women and children being held hostage by Israel?
  21. How do you feel about the Isrealis releasing Palenstinian hostages
  22. Yeah, he missed a few games but came back sooner than expected. He's absolute beast, a big reason why they haven't lost a game in over 2 seasons.
  23. I live in GA and I've seen Bowers for years, he a good prospect but the NFL is a different animal. If Bowers is available then the Bengals should not hesitate to draft him, but I would temper my expectations.
