  1. This is what my head tells me. My heart wants the trio to stay intact for a few Super Bowl runs.
  2. Bengals website still only shows 15. I'm guessing they are leaving some wiggle room while waiting to see how some injuries shake out (Ossai, TBD, etc).
  3. A bit worried due to Charlie Jones lingering issue and the pounding that a punt returner endures. Hopefully they give his backup lots of practice reps just in case.
  4. Kudos to the NEW Cincinnati Bengals organization. Very well done. Made me feel appreciated and proud to be a fan.
  5. Yep, this is exactly how I feel. Use the latest Burrow calf injury as an example...let's say he's out 4 games...big difference in playoff implications between going 2-2 vs 0-4 during that time. Is it a top priority?...well prolly not...is it worth worrying about?...hell yeah!!!...EVERYTHING DOES MATTER IMHO.
  6. Hmmmm...we should have a contest trying to guess what class Amish is taking. I'm going with "Advanced Homemade Furniture Making 401"
  7. I didn't even notice that Jonah started the game. Anybody get a good look at him? Thoughts?
  8. I rewatched that play a few times...I conceded the no catch because the ball did move in his hands between when his first foot came down and the second foot. Both calls on field were good calls IMHO.
  9. Terribly premature to think this...but...hopefully it doesn't impact the team's perceived need to sign Tee. The combination of JB, Chase, and Tee is what makes this team who they are IMHO...no slight to Lou's defense of course.
  10. The position groups that immediately pop into my head regarding this contact/no-contact/no-practice discussion are the WR's and DB's. They have to actually run the routes to learn the plays...and the DB's need to learn to cover guys like Chase. I think that's one of the reasons our secondary group has become so strong...its because those guys are learning, practicing, and refining against guys like Chase and Tee. So IMHO, no practice is out of the question. In the "no-contact" scenario these guys jump for balls, contest catches, etc and there is contact regardless. Arguably that's why a significant amount of training camp injuries are to these two position groups. Even if they were wearing orange jerseys there is contact. Also, as has been brought up numerous times, people can get hurt from whatever...weight training, jogging, etc as evidenced by JB's calf injury.
  11. My heart voted 6-0...but my head agrees with you. I really hope we don't lose to Cleveland though...they've had our number in recent past and let's just say I hope their QB follows the Browns tradition at that position.
  12. The real season can't get here soon enough so "writers" will have something at least somewhat factual to write about.
  13. Thanks guys...one of my favorite Bengal plays of all time. Never gets old or loses its luster...I smile everytime.
  14. Solid choice, no doubt. If the question was "What Bengal do you respect this most" then Whit and Munoz would be tops on my list. But "my favorite" to me has more to do with fun to watch so I gravitate to the skill positions like QB/WR that I wanted to aspire to. Admittedly that's a bit petty and obvious.
  15. Someone needs to find/post the clip of FB Peko trucking hairboy Palomino for the RB TD. Good stuff.
  16. Wow, really? I don't know where you live, but here is Cincinnati there has been a rash of people getting shot and killed over stupid little shit...even stupider than 2 angry drivers. Gun violence has gotten waaaaayyyyyyyy out of hand. People used to give others the finger, or shove eachother, or maybe even punch eachother over stupid shit...now people are pulling out their 9's from their waistband and capping eachother. I'm just saying it's a huge point of concern, emphasis, and action around here lately. Things need to change IMHO, and a high profile case like this is only going to draw more attention.
  17. As others have noted...I'd take Chase Brown off that list...not that he deserves to be in the "impressed by" list either...and add Carman to "NOT impressed by". Without any of the stars playing, I admit that I really wasn't watching all that closely though so YMMV.
  18. I have to say I was a little disappointed in Robbins last night. I'm sure part of it was my over-the-top expectations. With the exception of the 65 yarder that was *ALMOST* downed inside the 2 yard line, it was just kinda average to me. Hang times were probably above average, but that's not something that jumps out at you watching on TV. Again, my prolly unrealistic expectations were that his punts would be an "OMFG!!!" every single time.
  19. Virgil Carter -> Tommy Casanova -> Issac Curtis -> (Dark Years) -> Chad Johnson -> AJ Green -> Chase/JB Honorable mention to Kevin Kaesviharn & Andy Dalton just for Tibor and Go.
  20. I voted Yes for both...but...is it just my opponents bias or does Jefferson seem like much more of a Diva and "me first" than anyone we have? The locker room is so strong and cohesive now, so I would worry that someone who is more "me first" would really upset that dynamic. Jungle also brings up a great point about Higgins providing diversity in comparison to Jefferson and rest of our WR group.
  21. I thought one of the knocks on him was his blocking? Not a good look for blitz pickup for a 3rd down RB. Didn't a recent training camp report seemed to confirm that in RB blocking drills?
  22. Yeah, but its Kay Adams...exceptions are allowed and encouraged.
