  1. I was partially being tongue-in-cheek (why I winked), but also because you used that as the example and then I was the first pick and chose it, I feared there would be a subconscious or subliminal snowball effect. It's the most chosen pick so far, but that could be coincidental as well.
  2. I'm sure he does. There's just no chance he will still be there at pick 18. But Mims might be.
  3. It would be glorious if the Bengals took both Mims and Maason Smith in Rds 1-2 before the Squeelers could get either of them. ๐Ÿ˜† The Bengals had both of them in for visits and they would both fill needs (OT, DT).
  4. ^ I love this! ๐Ÿงก To me it signifies that Mims is the pick if he's there. But now I'm worried that Pollack gave too much away, so Shittsburgh knows they need to leapfrog the Bengals for him.
  5. ... I would argue the Bengals do it in reverse. They took a short arm "natural guard" (Jonah) and tried to play him at tackle. To me body measurements, arm length, mobility, strength, athleticism, and weight distribution determine "natural" position in the NFL more than what someone played in college.
  6. One interesting aspect to me about this draft is there are players who I like at their primary position, but love them at their secondary or potential position. For instance, I like Latham and Fautanu at OT, but I love them both as guards. I like Darius Robinson as a DE, but I love him as a DT (even more than Newton tbh). I like Barton as a G, but I love him as a C.
  7. ... Nightmare scenario for me. Watching Mims potentially be a 8 time pro bowler for the piss hankies, knowing that he could have been a Bengal. ๐Ÿ’”
  8. Many years ago, several of us met up in "CincifuckinJacksonville" (Go was there too). ๐Ÿ˜Ž But I also met up with a few posters like Jamie and others in DC many years ago as well. Seems like several lifetimes ago though. ๐Ÿ‘ด
  9. That's my concern for Barton if he's playing anything other than center, where short arms might even be preferable. But on the outside at OT, short arms are a huge liability (see Jonah). In a year where there are 36" arms (Mims and Paul) and 35" arms (Latham) going for 32-33" just seems like a self-inflicted wound waiting to happen.
  10. ... Oh the travesty of being "forced" to play for 1.25 million dollars a week. ๐Ÿ™„
  11. He played a key role in reaching the SB. Then he forgot who made him look good and ran to NYC chasing tail and or money and now his career is a flop. Moral of the story: a short-term raise on a bad team, doesn't equate to more career earnings. It usually means you get a signing bonus and cut before you ever see most of that "fake" contract.
  12. ^ Uzomah is nothing without Burrow. He will continue to be nothing. The End.
