  1. ... Oh the travesty of being "forced" to play for 1.25 million dollars a week. 🙄
  2. He played a key role in reaching the SB. Then he forgot who made him look good and ran to NYC chasing tail and or money and now his career is a flop. Moral of the story: a short-term raise on a bad team, doesn't equate to more career earnings. It usually means you get a signing bonus and cut before you ever see most of that "fake" contract.
  3. ^ Uzomah is nothing without Burrow. He will continue to be nothing. The End.
  4. I always watch ... Mike Tirico dropping "The Cincinnati Kid" at that moment was pure poetry.
  5. ^ I'm surprised Tee replied. And if by "best", he means risking Tee's life-changing financial security to potential injury to inflate his own ego and marketability to other clients, then yes. 💩
  6. The Bengals picks from the aforementioned Sporting News 7 round Mock ... 18. Cincinnati Bengals (9-8) J.C. Latham, OT, Alabama (6-6, 342 pounds) The Bengals moved on from Jonah Williams and Orlando Brown Jr. didn't come through as expected, so going for Latham to protect Joe Burrow is smart. 49. Cincinnati Bengals Mike Sainristil, CB, Michigan (5-8, 182 pounds) The Bengals didn't re-sign Chidobe Awuzie, but they should be OK trying to replace him by getting the former Wolverines teammate of other starter D.J. Turner. 80. Cincinnati Bengals Ja'Tavion Sanders, TE, Texas (6-4, 245 pounds) The Bengals did re-sign Drew Sample and add Mike Gesicki to their tight end room, but they still need more athletic, nside pass-catching options with Tyler Boyd not re-signed. Sanders has loads of potential as a short-to-intermediate target. 97. Cincinnati Bengals (compensatory) Jamari Thrash, WR, Louisville (6-0, 188 pounds) The Bengals should think about adding this pass-catcher with some dangerous big-play skills to help replace Tyler Boyd directly after taking a tight end shot on Ja'Tavion Sanders. 115. Cincinnati Bengals Cole Bishop, S, Utah (6-2, 206 pounds) 149. Cincinnati Bengals Dallin Holker, TE, Colorado State (6-3, 241 pounds) 194. Cincinnati Bengals Myles Murphy, DT, North Carolina (6-4, 309 pounds) 214. Cincinnati Bengals (compensatory) Michael Wiley, RB, Arizona (5-10, 210 pounds) 224. Cincinnati Bengals (from Cardinals through Texans) Jaxon Janke, WR, South Dakota State (6-2, 210 pounds) 237. Cincinnati Bengals Evan Anderson, DT, FAU (6-3, 326 pounds)
  7. I really wish Gesicki was on a 2-year deal, as I think he could shine in this offense and thus price himself out of town for next season.
  8. Bengals are more popular than half the NFL teams in Brazil ...
  9. Bengals should consider moving up to 9 if the right guy is there ... the only problem is the players the Bengals would want (Alt, Nabers, Bowers etc) are also likely who the Bears would want to stay put and take.
  10. That new wrist isn't the only thing that's rock solid ...
  11. Not sure how realistic Fuaga is at this point, as he's been rising up draft boards through the process.
  12. My guesses on the % chances that various OL are available for the Bengals at 18 ... Alt - 1 % Fashanu - 10 % Fuaga - 20 % Fautanu - 35 % Latham - 45 % Mims - 60 % JPJ - 85 % Guyton - 90 % Barton - 95%
  13. The news that the Colts want to trade up for Bowers is good news on the Byron Murphy front, as they are also the team I suspect could take Murphy before the Bengals do.
  14. ^ Minnesota is committing an International War Crime by wasting Jefferson's best years on their poverty franchise. #FeeJustinToCincy
  15. While I have no doubt Mims is powerful at 340 lbs, on tape I actually see more finesse than raw strength. Mim's wins with angles and 'danceability'. You can tell he's an athlete and lean with almost no body fat. He even has runner calves and ankles. If you want raw power then Latham is your guy. He's got the bubble butt and wide anchor. But to me he's more of a RG and lacks the light feet of Mims.
  16. Cedric's selling point coming out was his arm length (which was 34"). Which is larger than average yes, but seems small compared to Mims' and Paul's other worldly 36". Cedric was also injured the year prior as Mims was. But really to me they are totally different players. Mim's looks like he was carved on Mount Olympus, while Cedric looked like a schlub. Mim's also has very light feet like a ballerina, Cedric did not.
