For me, it's a combo of we start slow, Browns appear to have had this one circled extra hard, Burrow's uncertainty with his calf and the fact that the Browns completely revamped their entire front means they likely get pressure and force him to move on it, and the potentially wet field in a stadium where we have seen bad injuries to our players, etc. etc. etc. Just...don't like this spot. At all.

So…I really am dreading this one, and have a bad feeling about it.

At the time it happened, practice two of camp, he really should have listened to his coaches. Different now that it is a real game.

That was always my thought when I started trying to do this. And, figured it would be nice for everyone to be working off the same general info etc when having discussions. But enough shade has been tossed my way a few different times that I stopped doing it. It takes legit time and effort, and I genuinely appreciate griever and dex doing it now. It...helps. Nice to see the latest news in one place.

Well, I don't hold YOU to andrew brandt standards, but Brandt should be better. Speculate away, if it gets you off. Whatever helps you feel as bad as possible, have at it. I said above, I am uneasy. I just don't need to make shit up like Brandt did or like you apparently are to beat off on. It is enough that he isn't signed yet to make me uneasy. as to WHY that hasn't happened yet, who the fuck knows. But, sure, make shit up if it makes you happy.

On the general Burrow contract thoughts, all speculation aside, I confess to being...uneasy now. The fact this isn't done is making me uneasy.

That thought has as much basis in fact as Brandt. my simple point is no one knows anything and can only speculate.

There's literally nothing there but conjecture from someone not remotely connected to the negotiations or the Bengals.

Nothing reliably makes tigre madder than someone saying something nice about bengals fans.

For the national media pivot from concern trolling with "OMG BURROW IS GONNA MISS REGULAR SEASON TIME" to concern trolling with "OMG ARE THEY RUSHING HIM BACK TOO SOON" really is the highest of comedy. Clear from any rational observer that the Bengals were never gonna rush Burrow back in camp and that this was the likeliest return to practicing all along. I would guess if this were the regular season he would have been back a few weeks ago but they quite properly took their time to make sure he is 100% ready since there was no rush. TL/DR - the national football media sucks so hard.
