  1. Tight end Irv Smith Jr. (hamstring) did not participate in practice after missing last week’s game. On a short week, Smith might miss yet another game.
  2. https://www.fox19.com/2023/09/28/former-bengal-adam-pacman-jones-due-court-thursday-after-cvg-arrest/ Former Bengal Adam ‘Pacman’ Jones due in court Thursday after CVG arrest CINCINNATI (WXIX) - Former Cincinnati Bengal Adam “Pacman” Jones is scheduled to appear in a Northern Kentucky courtroom at 8:30 a.m. Thursday morning. Jones, 39, was arrested Sept. 11 at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport after airport police responded to a call about an “unruly passenger.” He was booked into the Boone County Detention Center on one count each with terroristic threatening, disorderly conduct, and alcohol intoxication in a public place, court records show. The incident happened around 6. a.m. as a United Airlines flight was taxiing to the runway, according to court filings. The flight attendant was giving the safety briefing and Jones was complaining about his charger port not working, according to the citation. “He unbuckled his seatbelt, his behavior caused annoyance and harm to the other passengers. He interrupted flight operations,” the citation states. “He was given one last opportunity to settle down, and that after they had taken off they would address his problems.” Jones remained argumentative and “Both flight attendants could smell a strong odor of alcohol on his person,” according to his citation. The captain turned the flight around and airport police tried to de-escalate the situation, according to the citation. Jones threatened physical injury and while in the officer’s presence said: “Wait, I’m going to get you and that is not a threat it’s a promise,” court records state. “I’m going to get you.” Police took him into custody at that point and handcuffed him. His bond was set at 10% of $5,000, according to the Boone County courts website. The former Bengal went on the social media platform X, firmly Twitter, to refute the claims about what happened on the plane. “The argument was the plug didn’t work,” Jones said in his video post. “So, I was like, ‘Hey, excuse me, sir, can move I me to another (expletive) seat because I bought both of these seats and the plug don’t work.’ Oh, you want to leave? We got to go all the way back to the gate. Well (expletive) that ain’t got nothing to do with me.” Jones continued, “Since I wanted to go all the way back to the gate because my plug didn’t work, I get arrested. Man, this (expletive) gotta be a movie.” https://gray-prod.video.arc-cdn.net/wp-gray/20230911/64ffa30039d8674c52e7b8b1/t_44110c87f1964ba0a7e539db265c4372_name_file_1920x1080_5400_v4_cropped/hd.m3u8 ** 👆🏼Adam is wearing a Pscho Bunny shirt... Coincidence?

  4. That's the problem. It is a coaching decision not Joe Burrow's. Not necessarily McCarron at this point but that is why they pay Jake Browning the big bucks. Yeah, I am sort of devil's advocate but if the D and Jake Browning can win the game... quite possible... then why risk further injury or at least prolonging it with a short week between games? Too much at stake for the TEAM going forward. Maybe even start Jake, if things are not going well bring Joe in for the second half. Not gonna happen but that may be part of the problem. Still, Joe stands much less a chance of a worse injury from an after whistle cheap shot holding the clipboard on the sidelines. End of rant...

  6. Yeah, I know. Joe Burrow will play... with an ouch calf and short week. Just threw McCaroon out there for food for thought. But playing is not Joe's decision. It is Zac and the coaching staff who make that call. Paul Brown and Forrest Greg would have probably told him to sit down and shut up. If the Oilslickers are so beatable then perhaps Browning can do the job. Joe doesn't do it alone. Ja'Marr and (hopefully) Tee, Tyler Boyd are on the other end. Maybe Irv Smurf's injury will linger and we will see more of Tanner Hudson or the intriguing pick up, the big huggy bear from Pittsburgh. And Mixon running the ball a few more times now that he seems to have got his groove back on. And out D and McFearsome's toe and Brad Robbins's punting . I think if we can beat the Tennessee Tuxedos without Joe and should give him an extra week off. That said... he'll play.
  7. Yeah, true homer to the core (ain't we all?) but I still can't get over how well and accurately that ref crew called the game. I swear the previous two weeks they all would have gone against us. NO
  8. He also lives about a half hour away from the stadium. Mike Brown would only have to give him $2 gas money rather than buy a plane ticket. Always a plus.
  9. https://www.yahoo.com/sports/jets-sign-qb-trevor-siemian-171251323.html Jets to sign QB Trevor Siemian to practice squad He was most recently in a training camp battle for the backup job with the Cincinnati Bengals but lost out to Jake Browning.
  10. Or give Kevin Huber a call at the St Pia Zadora Retirement home... Gilbert Gnarley In Bob Trumpy's biography "Trump" he talks about PB cutting a kicker/punter on the plane ride on the way back to Cincinnati. Talked about how humiliated the guy was and like, what was he going to do? Get off the plane mid-flight?
  11. Since the Oilslickers kind of suck ass... any thought to sitting Joe and maybe even starting McCarron? OK. Browning. But sit Joe. A healthier Joe and a sloppy W? Go Texans... beat the Squeels Go... shit in your hats CFT and FCB (Former Cleveland Browns)
  12. Don't let this distract you from the fact that In 1966, Al Bundy scored four touchdowns in a single game while playing for the Polk High School Panthers in the 1966 city championship game versus Andrew Johnson High, including the game-winning touchdown in the final seconds against his old nemesis, Bubba "Spare Tire" Dixon
  13. Once again, where has this ref crew been all season? Sure weren't here vs Baltimore.
