Estime. Comp pick?
Estime is so underrated. Much like his fellow ND RB Kyren always was by NFL "experts" until recently.

Agree but in this day and age very good receivers are plentiful.
The Bills will stay in the mix of the top AFC teams.
You know it.
Don't see that being the case and not because of this move. They had to punt like half of their defense off the roster just to get cap compliant and currently only have $4M of cap space this year and $6M next year. $55M of dead cap this year, with Diggs bein $31M of it. They don't even have a 3rd round pick in this draft either so no capital to move up in the 1st round.
I seem to recall Beane saying he'd never want to be in a position to draft a Ja'Marr Chase because that means you'd have to go through some lean years. Seems like the tax man has come to collect on that receipt, if he doesn't get fired first.

The Kelsey Conway article was completely useless. Total clickbait.
“He could…he might…he possibly…he isn’t!”
That's been the case for anything Enquirer related for a long, long time.

I think there was one to Boyd as well...against the Titans maybe? Total anticipation throw that seemed to just appear in Boyd's hands. Burrow is so special man.
Yes, 2020 COVID season. Saw it in person. Insane throw that Boyd didn't even have his head around until the absolute last second landed right in his hands.
Edit: Found it. Play starts about 6:30 mark.

The Athletic taking a dump on the Bengals 2023 draft. Rates us at 26th.
https://theathletic.com/5366550/2024/03/28/nfl-draft-2023-grades-cj-stroud-bryce-young/
Cincinnati Bengals: D
The Bengals took three swings on defense to open the 2023 draft — Myles Murphy (No. 28), DJ Turner II (No. 60) and Jordan Battle (No. 95) — and Turner looks most likely to grow into a full-time starter. Battle struggled to grasp the communication and play-to-play responsibilities of Cincinnati’s defense; Murphy didn’t make much of an impact, even as his participation increased.
Sounds like the writer didn't watch anything Bengals related in 2023. The Turner/Battle comments should be flippy flopped.

Bengals didn't allow the most sacks. Bengals allowed 50 and 6 teams allowed more, up to the Giants at 85.
And if you look at sack rate as % of passing attempts the Bengals ranked 17th. Likely skewed a bit by playing the AFCN pass rushes 6 times a year as opposed to other divisions.
That sack rate good for 3rd best in the division:
Stealers 7.1%
Browns 7.2%
Bengals 8.1%
Ravens 8.3%
Great? No. Worst? Also no.

Sad dayFor sure. Wrecks an entire interior OL on his own + awesome dude to boot.
Worth up to $27.5M. Wonder if the Bengals were close. Had they been they would have had to have one of the most expensive DT rooms in the league with Hill, Rankins & Reader. EDIT: $9M guaranteed.
I'm guessing they don't let Tart leave without a deal today now.

That nice payday for Rankins I think eliminates Reader though, as he will also want a similar 13-16 mill a year I think.
Disagree. They've been in on Reader since the beginning who's been a priority for them since the jump. They know his market well and don't think they make the move for Rankins without having a good feeling they can still retain Reader as well.

I'm sure Lou "the Alchemist" Anarumo will make something happen with Hill's skill set. I just hope he gets to settle in on position and master it for his long term development, moving around and playing different positions sounds cool but it doesn't help you specialize on one role. Dime or Nickel corner/safety.... whatever..he just needs to be on the field.
Reminds me of when Fisher went from guard to tackle to H-back to TE or whatever. He might not have been good to begin with but he never had a chance.

To be blunt.
Becton is a lazy fat ass thats never shown the desire to do anything more than collect a paycheck.
Jets are sick of him...
Sounds like a guy ZT & JB would never let in the locker room...

I'm not giving up our 1st, we need a right tackle badly.
I would prefer not to give up our 2nd, as we need a defensive tackle too.
I'm open to giving up the rest of the draft.
Fuck it, keep our first and 2nd.... then go Mike Ditka with the rest of the picks. If Joe is willing to restructure to make that happen.
Mahomes just restructured his deal to save the Chiefs ~$22M in cap space this year to (likely) keep Sneed after the Jones extension.
Burrow did say he wanted to follow the Chiefs & Mahomes blueprint, no...?

Bengals should have been in on him. He express interest in joining the team and that price is pretty reasonable. Would have meant we didn't have to use an early pick on a tackle. He's much better than Becton or Fant or whomever we end up with.
His interest was a tweet of beating the Chiefs. Nothing specific about the Bengals.
