  1. Two sources basically said its a 2 year deal. But I am dumb so I don't get it.
  2. AND they have a market to be able to say. The avg for these backs is about 4 million....will you rework your deal to that?
  3. Leonard Fournettes brother played with Burrow at LSU.
  4. What they may think. "We went to the super bowl with Mixon-Perine-Williams-Evans. We are returning Mixon-Williams and Evans and we will just replace Perine with a draft pick. A sneaky guy is Ty Johnson from the jets. 5. I think Myles Gaskin might be the best option paired with a rookie and Perine?
  6. Blocks so poorly he essentially was benched in the AFC title game.
  7. Who is the RB who you could rely on to start....would come cheap....and be ok to rotate with Perrine and a rookie?
  8. Leaonard Fournette might get released. He turned into a pass catcher.
  9. Chris Evans is an enigma. He didn't get a carry last year. At the start of 2022 I was telling people he would be the starter in 2023. Im not sure if its injury or something else but it wouldn't surprise me at all if he's a cut next year.
  10. Im assuming, perhaps wrongly, that all of those guys would be very cheap Perine 3-4 million a year Robinson 2 million a year? Williams league minimum Borghi league minimum Hasty and Robinson will be on just their fourth years. Last years salaries Breida $1,187,500 Johnson $1,216,500 I think this RB market will be really flooded
  11. I think I would 1. Cut Mixon 2. Re-sign Perine 3. Re-sign Williams 4. Draft a RB in Rd 2-4 5. Sign Max Borghi-I loved that guy last year. He is in the XFL now. I think he would be as good as any UDFA we could get. 6. Sign a veteran from this group James Robinson Jamychal Hasty D'Ernest Johnson Matt Breida RB-Perine-Robinson-Draft Pick-Williams-Evans-Borghi Robinson won't have a place in New York. My only issue is how far back are we moving from what Mixon offered.
  12. There is a pretty big mindset that you never take a RB in round 1. I used to agree with that. But I think now the reality is you just never pay a RB a second contract. So a Round 1 RB is actually a big benefit because you can get him for 6 years. 4 regular, 1 1st round option 1 franchise tag....then let him walk. Bijan is certainly on my list in round 1
  13. You are right. June 1st would save 10 million. I think it's possible he is here this year but with just a couple million in dead money next year it's unlikely he plays through his final year.
  14. There are lots of ways for the RB room to go. I am curious what you think or who your favorite guys are. Below is the breakdown of free agents. I separated them into a few categories that are certainly debatable. (If there are suggestions let me know) Some thoughts 1. I bet Perine or Mixon are back but not both. Mixon release saves 7 million 2. The top group might be beyond what we are willing to pay 3. Group 4 is a bunch of guys who have a trait or two that is interesting but I am not sure how they would fit. 4. More good teams are going with a veteran RB on the Practice squad. I would be all for that. 15. I would do 1 a year until we got to 10. Then I would come up with some system where they had to get like 75% of the vote or something. Should be really special. Right now it is. Really all of our hall of famers or those in the conversation. Shouldn't water it down.
  16. Trump took documents illegally. Wouldn't give them back when asked. They went and got them. If Obama did this all of the crazy people would be going nuts.
  17. But he isn't a politician. And nothing has been substantiated. We saw Trump and his kin profit off the presidency for 4 years.
  18. That's not equivalent. That's what politicians do. What about the Q supporters and the big lie supporters?
  19. If it's that easy to find you should be able to explain it to me pretty quickly?
