Chris Evans is an enigma. He didn't get a carry last year. At the start of 2022 I was telling people he would be the starter in 2023. Im not sure if its injury or something else but it wouldn't surprise me at all if he's a cut next year.

Williams league minimum Borghi league minimum Hasty and Robinson will be on just their fourth years. I think I would 1. Cut Mixon 2. Re-sign Perine 3. Re-sign Williams 4. Draft a RB in Rd 2-4 5. Sign Max Borghi-I loved that guy last year. He is in the XFL now. I think he would be as good as any UDFA we could get. 6. Sign a veteran from this group James Robinson Jamychal Hasty D'Ernest Johnson Matt Breida RB-Perine-Robinson-Draft Pick-Williams-Evans-Borghi Robinson won't have a place in New York. My only issue is how far back are we moving from what Mixon offered.

There is a pretty big mindset that you never take a RB in round 1. I used to agree with that. But I think now the reality is you just never pay a RB a second contract. So a Round 1 RB is actually a big benefit because you can get him for 6 years. 4 regular, 1 1st round option 1 franchise tag....then let him walk. Bijan is certainly on my list in round 1

You are right. June 1st would save 10 million. I think it's possible he is here this year but with just a couple million in dead money next year it's unlikely he plays through his final year.

There are lots of ways for the RB room to go. I am curious what you think or who your favorite guys are. Below is the breakdown of free agents. I separated them into a few categories that are certainly debatable. (If there are suggestions let me know) Some thoughts 1. I bet Perine or Mixon are back but not both. Mixon release saves 7 million 2. The top group might be beyond what we are willing to pay 3. Group 4 is a bunch of guys who have a trait or two that is interesting but I am not sure how they would fit. 4. More good teams are going with a veteran RB on the Practice squad. I would do 1 a year until we got to 10. Then I would come up with some system where they had to get like 75% of the vote or something. Should be really special. Right now it is. Really all of our hall of famers or those in the conversation. Shouldn't water it down.

I dont doubt that there are bad democrats, I just don't see the same level of corruption on both sides.

I am really curious where the line is for these current republicans? If we find out he was calling and pushing for the events on 1-6 is that enough? If he releases his tax returns or we find other funding from russia is that enough?

What are they offering the country at this point? The corruption is so obvious but people seem to just ignore it 1. Gerrymandering in Ohio is so completely blatant that a republican supreme court is striking it down. How can anyone view it as anything but corrupt? 2. The January 6th insurrection was so batshit crazy and the response from the republican party has been to minimize it as if it was a riot gone bad....if that crowd found Pelosi she is executed. 3. There is no evidence that the election was rigged in any way however many republicans still believe this? Trump literally tried to pressure the attorney general of Georgia to find votes and they don't blink an eye over this. 4. Trump already indicated if he was in power he would threaten to use nukes against Putin....don't even blink. 5. Marjorie Taylor Greene attends a white supremacy conference....all good. 6. Madison Cawthorn and others have talked about how Ukrainian leadership is just propped up by America. He and Tucker and others seem to be rooting for Russia. 7. This ignores absurd culture war things like CRT. If you take one second to look at the headlines on CNN vs Fox, you get news on one site and culture war on the other. How do people not see this? 8. Didn't/Don't beleieve in Covid despite 20 Million excess deaths worldwide 9. The candidates for Senate from Ohio couldn't be worse. They are as bad as it gets. 10. 7 hours of call logs missing from the president on January 6th? I am all for a second party that pushes for fiscal responsibility but this has gotten crazy.
