  1. If you go and find YouTube highlights of Anderson what always stands out to me were the accuracy of his short passes. Laid in there perfect every time. Many very good modern QBs struggle with those. They don't have the benefit of the full passing motion they have practiced and refined for decades. Just about everything Anderson threw was on the money.
  2. According to Bill Walsh, Anderson was Joe Montana before Montana.
  3. I wonder why you think Anderson wouldn't be effective in today's game? He was as accurate a passer as has ever existed. I think he wouldn't have a problem reading defenses. He probably wouldn't have the arm strength of some of these guys, but to me accuracy is king. Lots of guys with big arms that cant play for shit.
  4. Today's drugs are way more deadly than in the past. Honestly, it's sad. I can't see how anyone can take any pleasure in the death of a young man, no matter who his father was or is.
  5. Vegas had the better team. They were impressive. On the “What the fuck is wrong with your stupid fans?” front…Vegas fans actually cheered Bettman! That guy makes Goodell look like Abraham Lincoln.
  6. c’mon…everyone saw his behavior in the playoff game. He is some combination of immature and crazy. Either way the Bills are screwed.
  7. As talented as Diggs may be, he is a total pain in the ass. The whole "diva WR" game is played. Get over yourself. Only one team wins their final game. Grow up, or get out!
  8. The Blue Jackets subpar history over the past decade can be summed up in one word. Jarmo. Caustic GM. Bad decisions and pissing people off aren’t a path to championships.
  9. Similar story in every town. At least you will soon have Mike Babcock. 😬
  10. Another vote here for the Athletic. If you are a fan of teams other than where you live it is the best deal going. It's not perfect, but the writers are generally pretty good.
  11. I'm going to say something very unpopular. David Fulcher does not belong in the Bengals Ring of Honor. He was a good player for a few years. I know he has hung around the team and is a loyal Bengal, but the Ring of Honor is for the great players. Fulcher wasn't that good for that long. Hell, I would take Tommy Casanova over Fulcher at safety. He was a short timer too. Left in his prime to be a ophthalmologist. Krumrie was a much longer term influence on the Bengals. Deserves the honor. BTW...Willie is already in.
  12. That makes the negotiations pretty delicate. Burrow's camp may be willing to take a little less to keep Higgins, but if Higgins holds out for every last dollar that could blow it all up. I would expect Burrow would not be happy taking less and watching Higgins walk.
  13. Why is that? The Bengals have been unsettled at both tackles for years. They finally have a good LT. One step ahead of where they have been.
  14. No loss. The Bengals were going nowhere with Allen. Might as well try someone else.
  15. This is all about the TV market. Phoenix is the #11 market in the US and growing. Throw in Tucson and Yuma and now you know why The Cardinals are a big deal. It’s not a small market to advertisers. The NHL refuses to let their Phoenix team leave inspire of terrible performance and pathetic attendance. Hell, the Coyotes are now playing in a college rink! TV revenue is king.
  16. 100% On the other hand, Jackson's style of play contributes to these injuries. Running as much as he does is just unsustainable as a QB. Jackson keeps proving that each year. To me Steve Young had the best take on Lamar Jackson. He said we really don't know if Jackson can run a sophisticated NFL offense because he's never been given the opportunity. Young went to to criticize Baltimore for not surrounding him with the talent or giving him the options given to other QBs. All that said, not having an agent is so dumb due to all the reasons mentioned above.
  17. Some of the questions these guys ask are so stupid. Love to see a confident young man tell them to stick it.
  18. If they could unload Williams there's more money for a safety and RB.
  19. Let's not let Mixon's sister off the hook. She's the one who brought him into the house/family and apparently was shooting herself. Joe has to be smart enough to purge his life of people like that, even if it is your sister. They will bring you down with them.
  20. Trading Jonah Williams isn't going to happen. Who wants to pay a backup quality tackle $12-13M? Let him backup and compete for the RT job.
  21. Mixon may not have committed a crime, but some really questionable choices. If you see people with guns running around your home I would think you call police first, then consider if you need to start shooting. I sure as hell wouldn't go outside! Shoot first and ask questions later will get you in a lot of trouble as his sister and boyfriend are probably going to find out. If the Bengals were considering cutting Mixon these types of incidents will just help to confirm the decision.
  22. Can't imagine many teams would want Williams at the salary he is going to make next season. Can/do NFL teams keep salary in trades? Can't say I remember hearing that they do.
