  1. I get that thinking, but last year towards the end of the year we were taking the ball first if we won the toss and it seemed to work better.
  2. That's kind of like what happened to the atmosphere in Cleveland.
  3. Riddle me this. Burrow acknowledged the need to get off to a fast start. He also acknowledged that possessions were limited against the Ravens. Given all that, why for the love of God did we defer to the 2nd half??? My thinking is if you get the ball first and score, that maybe puts the Ravens at a disadvantage. Just my .02 worth.
  4. I guess it's a good year to have an early-ish bye week. The last 2 years, the bye has come smack in the middle of the season and that worked out for us.
  5. I’ve only seen maybe 5 minutes of the Miami game total but I’ve seen Eli Apple flagged for PI twice in that time. 😂
  6. I’m going to throw a radical thought out there that came to me as I was indulging in a little post game gardening therapy. Is it possible, just maybe, that the league has figured out how to defend our offense? The Browns have, for whatever reason, had our number by playing press coverage against our WRs. Maybe the rest of the league is seeing that. And, if that is the case, how does the brain trust combat that?
  7. Very true. I’ll be curious to see how many times Burrow got hit because I think he only got sacked once.
  8. 2 backup OL for Baltimore and we still couldn’t get to Jackson or stop the run.
  9. I’m currently reading “Football Done Right” by Michael Lombardi. He was a GM for numerous teams. It’s really interesting, because he does a deeper delve into the old NFL and explores some influences that still affect the game today. He also makes the case for some coaches that are not in the Hall of Fame but should be, as well as coaches that are and maybe shouldn’t be.
  10. No. Maybe ties a record. Pacman had an 81 yard return against the Browns in 2012.
  11. Frank LaRose strikes again. https://www.dispatch.com/story/news/politics/2023/09/14/ohio-to-share-voting-data-with-other-gop-states-after-leaving-eric/70850668007/ So, let me get this straight. You pull out of a bipartisan organization that provides more oversight in order to enter into individual agreements with Republican leaning states that will provide less oversight into election fraud because you don't like one of the heads of the organization debunking Trump's claims of voter fraud??? And this man wants to be Ohio's next senator. Wow.
  12. So, let me get this straight. The wunderkind “running QBs” like Jackson, Watson, and Justin Fields, all got sacked more than Burrow did??? Weird.
  13. Day off, off day, what’s the difference? Either way, they looked like crap 💩.
  14. The young man has Tyreek Hill in one of his fantasy leagues so he should be happy.
  15. I had a friend text me during the game that we should have kept Chrisman.
  16. But he didn’t exactly light the world on fire with his game, either. I’m still not convinced that he’s the savior that the Browns think he will be.
