Coffey's reaction when told of that statement? "If that’s the way they feel, that’s fine by me. If Stormy comes in or Mercker comes in, that’s fine by me, too. Either one of those guys would be good in that situation." As of right now, though, Todd Coffey is unquestionably the Reds' closer.
