Off topic: Dwight Freeney

I've never seen Ogden just get bitch slapped the way he was last night by Freeney. Was Ogden playing hurt?

One play Freeney went outside Ogden, runs round him, nearly hits Boller. Next play he pulls a stop start move, and goes around him again. Third down...he fakes to the outside, Ogden is compensating for this....the Dwightster spins back to the inside and takes Boller down.

I even saw him throw Ogden to the ground on one play. Didn't know he had that type of strength. Sweet Jebus. I think his total stats were 2 sacks, a shitload of pressures and hits. Just dominating. Never seen Ogden just get taken behind the shed and given a good paddling like he was last night.

We can only dream of having a pass rush like that....

It got so bad i felt sorry for Ogden and I hate the Ravens. Why

didn't they give the poor guy some help? They waited until almost

the end of the game before they started leaving therunning back

in to help block.

What the game showed me is that Carson outperformed Manning

against the Ravens defense.

Anyone see the clothesline that Donovan Darrius unloaded on Ferguson?

What a complete cheap shot.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

looked accidental (well, kind of...) but your right either way... that was a cheap shot... they said he finally got feeling back in his legs on the way to the hospital... i also saw one of his teammates (ironically, a wr) giving him HELL!!! those recievers see themselves out there and take it personal...

what was it called back in the day?...clotheslined?....

you would have to know you were going to

take that guys head off when you came into

the tackle with your arm up at the head region...

did you see the two Indy guys hit each other and

knock the dude out??? That was a nasty accident,

head to head.

Geesh...was there a full moon yesterday?

I think it was Rob Morris or Mike Peterson or something... that got knocked out (colts).

Ogden did get bullied around by Freeney (i loved it).

I was watching this thing on NFL Films last night and Donovan Darius is very religious??? That was what I thought, anyway. He was on a film with Reggie White, John Kitna, some guys from the old Rams... it was about religion and football. I fell asleep to it.
Thank God we didn't have to face Indy this year, couls you imagine Levi trying to block him?
Now that's irony. Levi was the #10 pick in 2002. Freeney was #11.

Actually I think Levi is a better match up against Freeney than Ogden. Levi is very quick and athletic (like Freeney), where Ogden is big, strong and quick (but not as quick).

Now that Levi is getting healthy again, he is playing better.

BTW, we will find out next year. We play the Colts in 2005.

I saw it on Curnutte's blog on enquirer.com. We play the AFC South and NFC north next year.

Posted below:
Question, from Jim in Alexandria, Ky.: I know the schedule The Bengals play rotates every year, and some of the games depend on their record this year, but can you tell me which divisions they will play next year other than their own?
Answer: Yes, I can. The Bengals play the AFC South and NFC North next season. They have
home games against Houston, Indianapolis, Green Bay, Minnesota and the same-place finisher in the AFC East (right now, third-place Buffalo). They will have road games at Jacksonville, Tennessee, Chicago, Detroit and the third-place team in the AFC West (Kansas City).
that schedule is better than this years, i think...

the bears started out well with grossman, then went down the shitter...

it's hard to tell right now who will be good and who isnt

Should be a LOT easier from the standpoint of defenses we will play. Jacksonville, Buffalo, Chicago, Ravens and Steelers should be the only really good ones we play. And MAYBE Tennesse. But not the bruising D schedule we had this year.
Donovan Darius JUST GOT DINGED $75,000 FOR HIS HIT ON FERGUSON!!!

For sure he appeals it. However, that's still a huge fine.

yeah... but it is justified if you ask me...

i dont think it should be that much (the fine)

he could not have knocked the ball away in any other fashion...

he was way in front of the receiver and his left arm was the only thing that could have incompleted the pass -

of course, if it was a bengal player he did that to... suspend him for the season with no pay
