I'm glad he is dead, but I don't think it means anything in the big picture. I saw Bushes speech about it this morning, and I didn't notice any "MISSION ACCOMPLISHED" banners in the background. The problems in Iraq can not be blamed on just one or two people. Even if we get Bin Laden it won't really change anything. The insurgents don't worship Osama as some sort of super human. As far as what significance to assign to this event...I suppose it all depends on whether you think there is any validity to the aritcles in the Washington Post and Rolling Stone...Or if you believe that he died in 2004, or was arrested yesterday (according to the Chinese News Source).
