Bengalino
I'm having a very frustrating arguement with some KC guys. They claim it was a completely intentional hit, and that he ducked his shoulder as he went down. What really pisses me off is when they say "Palmer is fair game now." Anyone have a video clip of Green getting hit so I can shut them up?
TheChosenOne
I don't have a clip, but it was obvious watching the game on CBS that Eddie Kennison pushed Geathers into him. Even the Bengal-hater Randy Cross said it was an unintentional hit and shouldn't have been penalized (which it was not).

Jamie_B
That hit remided me of Troy Aikmen getting hit by Lavar that ended Troys career. That wasnt a dirty hit either. And Carson is fair game? They dont play us agian how are they gonna "get him"?

Not only was he blocked into him, but it was raining hard and there was no way to put on the brakes.

The hit was also unquestionably legal. If Green wants QB slide protection, he needs to slide earlier. There is a reason no penalty was called on the play. cincyfan0014
he did lower his shoulder on the play, but that was only to aviod the hit. He was pushed in the back as well, but as theChosenone said it was unintentional hit.

The HIT was his shoulder slamming Greens face, which was unquestionably NOT intentional.

Guest BlackJesus
- No flag was thrown - Kennison pushed Geathers into him - The hit wasn't low & + Trent doesn't even remember the hit anyway .... carry on
Rumble In the Jungle
i don't think it was dirty! and when i was watching the game, all the bengals fans showd class by not cheering when he was down, unlike stealers fans! i wish him a speedy recovery, Trent is a very class act guy.
Guest LeakyBengal
I think Geathers hit him. The force that Green was hit with was to large to be from someone being pushed into him. I don't care either way. Dude shouldnt be running around that much.

Green slid too late. You could tell when Green went down that Geathers tried to minimize the impact. He turned to the side so he kind of fell into him instead of just plowing him. That's how I saw it anyways.
Guest Coy Bacon
I understand those guys' point. What I saw was Geathers starting his tackle before Green slid, getting blocked into Green, AND dipping his shoulder into Green as he hit him. Oh, well, next time slide earlier. Dipping the shoulder is also a way to make sure that the tackler doesn't hit himself. Fuck those Kansas City punks.
Utts
It was a clean hit, but is was a HIT. Jumpy tried to fuck him up and get the ball out, as he should have.
Guest LeakyBengal
I dunno. I don't think he was blocked into him. Geathers was getting ready to hit him. The Chiefs player was half falling himself.

|Bunghole|
This is fucking football! If Trent wants to take off running, FINE, but let's not forget that when QB's do that, they are FAIR GAME. Just because Trent was getting ready to slide, Geathers had already committed to the hit, and was pushed into him means SHIT! THIS IS FOOTBALL! NOT Bingo. Sorry Arrowhead fans....you were booing for the wrong reason, when you should have been cheering for Huard. It was a legal hit, and a damn good one. Maybe your QB will remember that the next time he tries to run out of the pocket.

Utts
I don't know how big "the push" could have been, since it appears the pusher is airborne. Tough to push a guy with lots of force if you don't have a foot on the ground to push off of.
