VERY cool.

I don't really need it, but I downloaded it and it seems to work really well.

Just hope it doesn't open us up to hackers and worms. Someone's probably draining my Swiss bank account right now. ^_^

This thing is the shit. Again, VERY cool.

DEFINITELY a firewall problem. Also what is your connection speed (dial up or broadband)?

I have 512 broadband and it didn't work at first due to the firewall settings. Firewall thought there was a hacker attack on my pc, so I just clicked the 'Already know application was modified' option and it works now. (I'm using Kaspersky for my firewall).

This thing is the shit. Great to be able to watch US tv! :headbang:

I just saw it say they are going to show the Bengals-Stealers game, and thought

If some of you don't mind paying, try this one:

http://www.satellite-pc.com/opt3.htm

It's currently been reduced from $350 to $67 for a limited period.

You can watch atleast 1000 channels worldwide (and the list is still growing).

Not bad actually. Just been watching Argentinian TV. Also, I it think allows you to watch different TV regions within the US. Might be able to view different NFL games a result.

But I would recommend that your pc has a decent graphics card to view it, coz the picture quality is just about ok with my onboard graphics but could be better, especially when making the screen full size.

And above all - THANKS OLD!!! If it wasn't for you none of us would've found this stuff.
you said before it fucks up for you? what did you do to fix the problem
Turn the popup blocker off and allow it to run Active X on that site. Simply put, just turn your popup blocker off.

If the shit's green and buffering afer 5 seconds, refresh it, should work.

like I said before, when I first downloaded it, it worked great for the first 10 seconds. then a few hours later when I tried it froze a lot and was hard to watch. today it's a black screen with no sound. Pretty typical with my computer, since nothing ever seems work. I mean opening a basic folder or program is a challenge in itself, so I guess I was a fool for thinking I could make this work.

I'm just prayin it doesn't rain too long or hard where I live sunday so my tv wont go out

Found an even better one (okay you have to pay $49 one time fee - but that's all).

http://www.satellitetvtopc.com/?hop=bonobo

It uses the same TVU software as the one being discussed, but also provides an add on called TVants, which allows you to watch 3000 channels worldwide - including a massive amount of US channels. If you got a good anough connection, you can even watch Iraqi and Iranian TV - and get first hand shit on what they're all saying about Bush.

Old Schooler - the messiah to non US Bengal fans - we salute you.

Wow! Just freaking awesome!

:headbang: :headbang:

I was reading their forums and someone had a tip for better streaming..

Open windows media player while you have the TVU player open and running..

then when in media player, go to file > open url > and enter http://127.0.0.1:8901/

Didn't seem to help everyone, but It worked better for me, handles the streaming better.. doesnt chop up or get blocky as much!

You can then close the TVU player window, and leave it open in the task bar.. if you close it all, the media player stream stops eventually.

TVants is free... http://www.tvants-ppstream.com/

Don't trust any of these one time fee services. They most likely will just give you the link to one of these free programs. If it is a valid service, it will most likely be a small monthly fee. There is only one pay streaming service that I know of that's not a scam and actually delivers a lot NFL games, and its $3.85 a month.
