Themes, Ques and Stings How do you hear a character? 1) By its background - you hear what the character(s) is sitting in. 2) By how they interact - fly it in. Make them kiss, meaning the sound and the character(s). 3) Darth vader effect. Meaning the sound effects or music make the sounds that define the character(s). The music doesn't neccessarily have to be fast and hard. Sometimes a song that is the exact opposite of the video can bring more attention to the video. Watch a few really good films, with great sound, and you'll get an idea. Sorry, that's what studying media does to a person. I can't just give straight answers anymore.
