Totally agree. Kitna sucks and even in a career year couldn't have taken any team to within arm's reach of the playoffs without a terrific head coach. Besides that, look at what Marvin inherited: not just a franchise residing deeply in the shitter, but a losing culture of fucking operatic proportions. The fact that some people are callin for his head right now is sad, and a testament to how much he raised the bar and turned this franchise around. Shit, if it weren't for the retarded season-ending loss to Cleveland in '03 and the kicking-game double meltdown in '06, he'd have posted three winning seasons in his first four (with two playoff appearances). As it is, he's brought home a division championship and four non-losing seasons in his tenure; coaching a club that managed a [b]grand total of one in the twelve fucking years [/b]before his arrival! That said, it's obvious he's not perfect. Nobody is, not Lombardi, not Landry, not Walsh, nobody (certainly not Bellichick--look at his dry turd run w/ the stains!)
