One of those 3 should be there at 18. As soon as 40s get run, and some of the WRs and cornerbacks start to creep up, these guys will likely drop.

If it's Nelson, they'll fight it out for the top DB spot.

If it's Jamaal, then Smith is obviously gone and the 3-4 is still very much a possibility.

If it's Okoye then hey, that's great.

I'd pick Jamaal over all of them though. Poor man's Pepper, only this man ain't so poor.
I wouldn't blame Steiny for what Von AssholeOffen did to Carson, Steiny didn't make him reach up from the ground and twist the weight of his body into Carson's knee after Carson had clearly let go of the ball.
I'm just giving you the excuse you need in your own mind to let Steinbach and Justin go. We are way better off getting new blood on the defensive side of the ball both in FA and the draft.

I'm just repeating it, but its true, ...we desperately need more balance.
go compare the salary ratios (offense vs. defense) of the teams in the playoffs this year. this team needs more of a balance.
Yeah, I bet the Colts salary ratio is balanced between offense and defense. With the three huge contracts for Peyton, Harrison, Wayne, not to mention their linemen they're probably more skewed than us.

The Bears are skewed towards defense though probably not as much, but neither of those teams are balanced.

we have one of the cheapest defenses in the league. don't believe me? go check the figures. it pales in comparison with the money spent in indy. and speaking of which...i've seen indy's defense play quite well when they've needed to this year. they totally shut our high priced offense down, afterall, and they showed up big in other money games.

for a team that basically refuses to sign upper tier free agents, it's mandatory you keep the best players on your defense. that is 1st round picks entering their 2nd contract...aka justin smith.

I'm kind of torn on that. Smith works hard but can't we do better than Justin in FA?
