Touché. Phil Savage isn't as good as I thought. Maybe he's just been too busy trying to take useless Ravens to actually pick up some personnel to make that team better. Butwith how little room you guys have and how much room for improvement there is, big coaching staff change, etc. I think the Browns have a better chance at doing well next season than the stealers do. They'll probably screw themselves over, though and come in last place in the division again. That's always the case.

He has that ring despite his best attempts at helping his team lose that game. If he didnt blow the refs before the game they would have lost.

Trent Dilfer also has a starting QB super bowl ring, among many other poor QBs.

That ring means nothing for QB talent unless you are a good QB.

Which Jen certainly is not.

Wait, hold on. You're telling me you would rather have Jen "Help me, Willie!" Worthlessberger than Air McNair the next few seasons? McNair has two or so more solid years left. This year, he was good for us. Next year, he'll be even better because he'll be more familiar with our system. To be truthful, I can't see the Browns doing better than you guys next year, but without the anchor you guys have always had at center, you're in for trouble. Ben is losing coaches and guys are aging.

McNair would have been dead if that was him in that picture of yours.

His QB rating went from a 98.6 to a 75.4. That's what happens when you lose two offensive weapons.

 McNair is a warrior. I doubt it would have affected him that much. We'll never know since he didn't get sacked that much this season. I will tell you this, though. He had no roughing the passer penalties against him this season. And he was hit later and harder than a lot of Roughing the Passer calls I saw this year.

alright pred, here are the mcnair and roethlisberger career numbers:
games
McNair 155
Roethlisberger 41
completion percentage
M 59.9
R 62.4
yards per attempt
M 6.96
R 8.25
tds/ints
M 172/115
R 52/43
rating
M 83.2
R 87.9

The numbers are pretty similar if you ask me. We can compare stats all day long though, games aren't won on paper

Exactly..

Looks like McNair was 2 up this year!

Fuck McNair, his best years are behind him (and have been since his ego-crushing defeat in the Super Bowl as a Titan), not to mention the reality of his beat-up body and the lack of a receiving game for the Rats beyond Heap (c'mon, Mason is too short to be really good...).
And for that matter, fuck Ben Vaginaberger as well. Yes he has a ring. Whoopee. Youngest QB ever to do so!
The stealers are in for a decline, the Browns are going to improve, and the Ravens are always going to be that pesky team with a genius coach, a good, if aging defense and a subpar offense until they improve at QB, RB and WR.
The Bengals are stacked up well against our foes in the AFC North. I think they rise up and dominate next year.
