I also like and choose Emet because it is comprised of the Hebrew letters "Aleph Mem Tav" which are the first , middle, and last letters of the Hebrew alphabet --- thus symbolizing how Truth runs from beginning to end. I also have the Hebrew "Chai" symbol tattooed on my left arm which means "living". I also have a tattoo of Chagall’s famous painting "War" symbolizing the genocide of Jews because of intolerance on my left leg. ~ I like the taste of Bagels with Lox, Knish's, Latkes, & Falafels --- all Jewish foods. ~ My personal lawyer is Jewish. ~ During my undergraduate - I was President and in a historically Jewish fraternity all 4 years ~ I have heard Elie Wiesel speak (famous Holocaust survivor/humanitarian) and got a chance to shake his hand. ~ When I was younger ... [b]***[/b]I admit, I'm not a good Jew. I failed Hebrew while studying for the Bar Mitzvah I never had (or wanted, to be honest) and the Rabbi told my mother I was hopeless (I take pride in that one). I celebrate Christmas instead of Hannukah because 8 days is just too long to deal with the holidays, and I'd rather be tied up on the same day as everyone else. Also, I married a German-American Lutheran who went to Catholic school, and I gave my son a total goyish name, but aside from all of that, I still qualify as a club-member.
