Hey, no worries on not being a fan of Mesa. 6L6's and EL34's are 2 totally different beasts. I can't play through a Marshall. Hell, I had a Mesa Stiletto (EL34's) which is supposed to be their amp to go up against Marshall, and I couldn't stand it. It wasn't bad for just screwing around I guess. Since I do have some relation with Mesa Boogie I like to hear Marshall players say that they like the Stiletto but for me, nah. Does nothing for me. I didn't have a hard shell case to bring it back so I took the neck off and put the pieces in my suitcase and then put it back together when I got home. I like the way it plays as much as anything else I've tried, and I fooled around with a good number of guitars in the shop and at home, before I chose this. (My dad has a LesPaul, an SG, and several others that escape me at the moment) I really want a custom Tele thinline, but I have to learn to play this damn thing first I just finished the book I was buried in, so now I'm looking to get back to practicing again tonight.
