Actually it is quite a cycle. These underage girls are parading around in bikins and are "well developed" (or have breast implants) because that is what gets them attention. For instance, on this site you do not see too many threads or posts about a womans assests other than her nice ass, sweet chest, or whatever other physical thing you can think of. Not too many people seem to care about beauty and brains, just beauty and ass. Since that is the case, its no wonder why girls are willing to strip down and bare themselves to whomever will look because thats where they get their positive reinforcement. Now do not get me wrong, I am no ugly chick who has it out for every pretty girl. I can admit when someone is pretty and when someone is even better looking then I am. I however, posses two things, a decent face and a pretty good brain. I like to pride myself on the fact that the big muscle in my skull works really well and has gotten me far. Beauty comes second. Apparently, however, that is not how the rest of society feels....and if they do they only share those thoughts with themselves.
I hear you and essentially I agree with you but at the same time I dont think it's entirely society to
blame by the way women are represented. Many woman play active roles to the ways they are
exploited.

Of course...there is no denying that. I am just arguing that there is more of a "reward" by acting and dressing a certain way. Just as if I did not share my opinion and instead posted a million pictures of myself, I would probably have a lot more fans. Realistically what is your first reaction when you see a "hot" woman? Its DAMN, when you see a strong woman its probably BITCH.

Wow Miss South Carolina must feel stupid. I just watched that and felt terribly embarassed for her.

Ok

1. Your not an ugly chick in the slightest. Dan is a lucky guy. (Hi Dan )

2. I agree with what your saying here, I do think it goes both ways in the women do objectify men as well. Not on the scale that men do it to women but it does happen. But it also comes from the media and that every magazine you ever see everyone is perfect, but in reality they arent things are photoshoped to death and what comes out on a magazine isnt close to the reality of what that person may look like. Jamie Lee Curtis has spoken out about this many times. The question to me seems to be how much is it the media pushing us and how much of it is society pulling them?

You're leaving out one key element: for an old chick, Jamie Lee has some nice tits.

If you do it without it, yeah thats probabally true.

LOL......I am just being general. Strong doesn't necessarily translate into either of those two. However, those definitely are the two sterotypes people think of. I also feel for men too though. Do not get me wrong, men have to fill stereotypes as well which say they must be strong, assertive, and all those other masculine things. It must suck when they can't be any of them

shed have to be smart enough to regret what she said in order to feel stupid about saying it. i am sure that in her mind her statement was a well thought out and clearly rational response to the question.

I agree, that must suck. Seriously, I am a father of two young sons, Step-Dad to a 13 year old girl, and I completely understand where you're coming from.
I'm constantly getting on her about her "too sexy, pouffy-lipped, gang-sign wannabe" pictures she puts out there...

Exactly! My 11 yr old girl cousin is the same way, and has a myspace to boot. These little girls are becoming more and more oversexed. I remeber as an 11 yr old running around in WNBA t-shirts, baggy pants, and a rats nest on my head, but let me tell you I had fun being a kid. I was never worried about looks or makeup.....I only worried about my parents telling me it was time to come in.

Ahhh, the good old days before the internet/MySpace.
Suze is more of a junkie to MySpace than I am to this place. And really, that's sad!
LOl...you guys are funny, I just had a serious laugh reading the responses to my post.

By the way, I probably come off a little bit harsh, but let me explain, I lack this thing they call tact. If you ever watch the Golden Girls, Sophia the oldest one had a stroke which rendered her unable to hold in her opinion. Often, that is exactly how I am, and my delivery is often worse. There is nothing wrong with finding someone attractive, obviously, but perhaps the fact that these girls you were talking about were a little young bothered me. At 17, 18, 19, and even now, I find it offensive when men overly objectify me and other women.

Sorry for being so bitchy, lol
You are really hot when you're indignant. :P

Seriously, while being pulchritudinous will help during the initial "getting-to-know-you" phase, a woman needs to be deep and intellectually stimulating to hold my interest. I especially like dry senses of humor, or at least a gal who can appreciate my style. And I want her to be passionate about something, something that she can teach me about.

yes, I am very lonely. :D

Any heterosexual male who tells you he's not attracted to 16, 17, 18, 19 year old girls is lying.

It's the way God, or Darwin or whatever made us.

If that makes me a perv, so be it.

Yup, I'm 48 years old now, but at every stage of my life, that's been the most attractive age range for me. I've been happily and faithfully married for almost 25 years, and my wife is a year and a half older than me. I love her with all my heart, and she looks much better for her age than I do, but that has nothing to do with "primitive instincts", and what is naturally attractive.

Your daughters and sisters are safe around me. It's not like "I think I have a shot" with them, and I'm certainly not a psychopathic rapist. But if they're wearing a short skirt and they bend over, man law says I have to look, and like what I see.

Sue me.
