Kinda like what Mike Curtis did to one back in the 70s during a Colts-Dolphins Game? Moron sued Curtis, the Colts and the NFL for his injuries, but lost his ass when tape showed him picking up the ball between snaps and running by Curtis screaming "Fumble!", who clotheslined him and tackled him. Judge ruled that by coming down on the field, picking up the ball and shouting "Fumble!", he essentially made himself into a football player and was subject to the rules of the game, which included clotheslining and tackling. It was his own fault that he wasn't properly equipped to play the game. Lost his case and had to pay damages to Curtis, the Colts and the League and their lawyers, as well as his own medical and legal bills.
Talk about sweet!

I would, if I still lived in Gettysburg, and the Bengals were playing in Baltimore.

Marvin Lewis Info

Pro Career: A record-setting NFL defensive coordinator, Lewis was named the ninth head coach in Bengals history on January 14, 2003. In his first season as head coach, Lewis guided the Bengals to an 8-8 record, a six-game improvement over the previous season. Cincinnati posted its best record since 1996 and its second-place finish in the AFC North was the club’s best since 1995. Lewis was named rookie coach of the year by Football Digest. Lewis directed the NFL’s fifth-ranked defensive unit in 2002 with the Washington Redskins, serving as assistant head coach in addition to his coordinator’s role. He spent six seasons (1996-2001) as defensive coordinator with the Baltimore Ravens, a tenure that included a Super Bowl victory following the 2000 season. In the 2000 regular season, Lewis’ Baltimore defense set the NFL record for fewest points allowed in a 16-game campaign (165). It also finished first in the NFL in rushing yards allowed (970), rushing average allowed (2.7), total takeaways (49), fumble recoveries (26), and shutouts (4). Lewis’ 2000 defensive unit has been widely considered as one of the best NFL defenses of all time. The 970 rushing yards allowed was the fewest in NFL history for a 16-game season. The Ravens’ four shutouts were the most by an NFL team since Pittsburgh had five in 1976. Lewis has 22 years of coaching experience. Prior to his tenure with the Ravens, he spent four seasons (1992-95) with the Pittsburgh Steelers as linebackers coach. He taught some of the NFL’s best linebackers, including Pro Bowl selections Kevin Greene, Chad Brown, Levon Kirkland, and Greg Lloyd. Lewis began his coaching career working four seasons (1981-84) with the linebackers at his alma mater, Idaho State. Also nicknamed the Bengals, Idaho State finished 12-1 during Lewis’ first season and won the NCAA Division I-AA championship. Lewis was also a linebackers coach at Long Beach State (1985-86), New Mexico (1987-89), and Pittsburgh (1990-91).

Career record: 16-16

Background: Lewis earned All-Big Sky Conference honors as a linebacker at Idaho State for three consecutive years (1978-1980), and he also saw action at quarterback and free safety. He received his bachelor’s degree in physical education from Idaho State in 1981, and earned his Master’s degree in athletic administration from the school in 1982. He was inducted into Idaho State’s Hall of Fame in 2001.

Personal: Born Sept. 23, 1958, McDonald, Pa. Lewis and his wife, Peggy, have a daughter, Whitney, and a son, Marcus.

I thought it was very interesting that Marvin saw time as a S (LB-S tweener) at Idaho St., and also some time at QUARTERBACK!

Hmmm...He must have been an interesting athlete at that time. I wonder if it gives him any added insight on the offensive side of the ball.
